Visited this hotel on an overnight visit to Palermo after staying in Cefalu further up the coast for a week. Impressive architecture, even although it is relatively modern. Stands in a small square just back from the noisy main streets. Staff friendly and speak good English, despite my weak attempts at Italian! Had a twin room with my daughter, and...

This hotel - newly reconstructed old palce - has an excellent location only about 300 m from Piazza Pretoria and Cuatro Canti and about 600 m from the railway station and bus station. I booked De-luxe room, it was very spacios, comfortable, silent and had also terrace with view over the roofs of the Old town. Very nice courtyard and...

This hotel was very grand. It was an old bank and the decor was outstanding and rooms lovely. We had a suite with a balcony which was wonderful. The staff were standoffish and aloof both at the reception desk and at breakfast. I asked if I could get an adapter for my ipad and phone at the reception desk and...

We spent 2 nights and were upgraded to a fabulous suite. Good breakfast included and everything worked including the air conditioning. Staff were friendly including the maid who helped us dry our clothes. Had to go downstairs to the lobby for Internet access but hey,we were on holiday so who wants to spend all day glued to a computer. The...

The customer service here was excellent and we had no issues using the internet from our room. The room and bathroom was a great size and it had a private balcony. We felt very comfortable. We only noise we could hear were the people walking above us, but that was expected. The breakfast had a great selection including scrambled eggs....

Our stay in Palermo was highlighted by the Opera at the Teatro Massimo. Our hotel is grand but internet only works downstairs by the reception area. The receptionist ( male at that moment) was gruff. Dinner staff were OK but no communication at all. This hotel cater to English speaking tourist but not many spoke English. At breakfast, every staff...

This hotel is lovely, very grand as it was once an old bank. There are a few things things that can be off putting if your not so grand yourself. The women receptionists are aloof, there is no menu at breakfast but the Italians and Americans ask outright for those breakfast items not displayed, and get them. You have to...

I really loved this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in last week of August 2014. Great location in the centro, spacious clean room and pleasant bathroom, small balcony looking out over a small piazza, quiet (either the room was very well insulated or there were no other guests around our room, as I never heard anyone, not even the...

We chose this hotel for it's location as we were only staying in Palermo for one night and the location met my expactations. The major Palermo sights were walkable, the room was small but quiet and clean and the reception was helpful. It is easy to walk to the Central station to catch the airport bus and it has numerous...

This is indeed a Grand hotel. You can actually get lost in this old building. There are many staircases which lead to interesting historic rooms. The marble staircase is wondrous. Excellent position tucked away, but very central. Our room was quite small but comfortable. Well furnished with quality. It is pleasant to sit in the atrium and relax. Close by...
