A friend and I were visiting Palermo for the first time. We stayed in the Abali Gran Sultanato. It was an excellent choice. It is very centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere in Palermo. The host, Vito, is outstanding. He is welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. He made sure we had a map with many sites on for...

We had one night in Abali Gran Sultanato and it was a memorable experience. The interior decoration has been described as making Alice in Wonderland look like a black and white movie. It is both flamboyant and yet a comfortable place to stay. The location is very convenient in the middle of town that means you can walk to all...

As central as it could be, just off the pedestrianized Via Maqueda. A nondescript entrance leads you to a lift to take you to the fourth floor. Inside, prepare for Ali Baba's cave, for the whole B&B is painted and furnished in an original style. A cross between Gaudi, Dali and Detmold, it's all delightfully coloured and decorated by hand....

Markets abound in each direction and many main attractions are within a 10 min walk. Its on rhe fourth floor of the building but...

It´s perfect for couples. It´s uniquely designed, one that you´ll never forget, located right in the middle of all the action, a short walk away from all the famous points of interest in Palermo, and it´s run by sweet, friendly people. It´s probably the most convenient place to stay in in the city. I love that it´s just behind the...

First of all, there was no signs anywhere so we wasted about 30 minutes just to find this place, and after we found it, my husband had to phone the hotel because the door was locked. He told him that we were downstairs, asked if he could open the door for us but the guy's response was,"I'll text you", then...

We stayed in the Sultan's suite and it was kitchy fun! We dressed up in arabic costumes (made by the Sultan himself) and took funny pictures, enjoyed the XXL jacuzzi tub and it was great migling with the other guests at the kooky breakfast table. The b& is smack in the middle of a market street, like being in a...
