I can't praise the lady on shift - Valentina - highly enough. Helpful and friendly, with good advice and a very sympathetic approach to my faltering Italian. Also patient enough to converse with me in Italian despite clearly speaking very good English. And our room was lovely, with one of the most comfortable beds I've been in in a hotel...

Fantastic stay at the Liberty hotel. All of the staff, without exception, were so accommodating in ensuring we had a most enjoyable experience - not only in the hotel but also in Catania. It's a little away from the main strip but well worth the short walk - and there are very good restaurants, frequented by locals, nearby that will...

Hotel is Art Nouveau style; stunning stained glass lamps and luxurious fabrics, wall and ceiling frescoes. Lots of comfortable seating; two TV's; spacious private outdoor patio. Large bathroom with lovely mosaics. Only other things I would have liked are a full length mirror and maybe a magnifying mirror. The bedside lamps were Tiffany style; their size and wattage were not...

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We booked it based on the number of reviews and average rating on Trip Advisor. It was a fantastic choice. It was an excellent experience. The hotel is delightful. It has charm and class, and is tastefully decorated with an old world feel about it. So different from the modern decorating choices...

Very nice hotel located at 3min walking distance from the heart of the city. The hotel ia very cozy and quiet, the atmosphere is old school as if you have traveled back in time within an old aristocratic italian villa. This is the hotel where we had the best sleep in East of Sicily. On the same note, the staff...

Only stayed one night ,but the room was Clean, and very nice in the Old World Style. The bathroom was large and beautiful with French doors to the balcony that was also accessed from the bedroom. Location was excellent, short walk to the best spots in town and easy to find.

Sadly we only stayed here one night. Our flight came in a bit late & we didn't check into the hotel until almost 10 pm local time. We had a beautiful suite, with a lovely lounge, large bedroom and bathroom, and a private terrace. It really is beautifully decorated with lots of antique furniture. The very helpful guy behind the...

The Liberty Hotel is located on a rather dismal street that at first worried me. It turns out to be very short walk to the historic center and many, many great dining spots. The street is quite safe despite its look. Once you enter the hotel you are in a different world from the street. The interior is high Belle...

The staff bent over backward to be helpful....from the reception/desk clerks to the baggage carriers to the bar and breakfast staff. They were friendly, courteous, always offering assistance, regardless of the question or need. Our room was on the second floor. We had two balconies, though not the greatest view. The bathroom was spacious and clean and many amenities were...

The building outside is pretty ordinary, but when you get inside, it's lovely. It's decorated in beautiful arte nouveau style of which I am a fan. The service is impeccable, and the staff is attentive, welcoming and helpful. We arrived before the normal check in time, and the desk clerk was genuinely upset. He made us coffee while we relaxed...
