We were in room 110 on the 1st floor above the street, The room was large and elegantly appointed. Internet was reasonably fast but not enough to support Netflix. Breakfast was average for a large hotel. The only hot food was scrambled eggs and the dining room was understaffed in the morning making for mild chaos when large tour groups...

Great service, basic 3 star hotel but clean and staff very welcoming. Not far from tourist attractions, walking distance. Breakfast was continental, wide selection. Great bread and fresh fruit available. Lovely traditional decor.

When you arrive at this hotel, the first impression especially from outside might let you down. On the other hand as soon as you go in the atmosphere is so welcoming and the reception personnel are so nice. The rooms are also quite large, clean and full of the necessary amenities. Wifi is also available and of a good standard....

The hotel is close enough to downtown but borders but borders an dodgy area especially at night. Room clean and comfortable, minibar provided is little but free. The reason we will never return to the Katane Palace Hotel is the incredible rudeness of the staff that we had at the reception. I booked the Katane because on their websites (and...

We stayed for two nights at this hotel during our trip to Sicily. It is a very basic hotel, with no wifi in the rooms, a free minibar (water and lemonade only), and a very small TV. It is however in walking distance of the main square and attractions (about 15 minutes) and the excellent shopping centre (which is along...

I stayed in this hotel just for 2 nights and I it was quite ok. The hotel staff I would say is just "normal". They were not too courteous but there was nothing bad with them in my case, like apparently other travellers had. The room for two was really large, as was the bathroom. The balcony was on the...

Katane palace hotel may have been four star but it's not today. We paid the extra for a deluxe room with a balcony; the balcony was very plain, and having no furniture on it (or anything useful in the room) it was useless. The advertising proudly annouced the FREE MINIBAR, so did the sign in the lift, and the nice...

Not so ideal neighborhood. Only limited number of cars can be placed in the small garage... Our car wasn't so lucky. So we have to pay a city parking 3 days in a row. Beds were comfortable, Breakfast good... but every day the same. no cottage cheese, no oat flakes. But really good cookies and croissants...

We have stayed at this hotel for a week. The breakfast was really nice in a small garden with a good choice of food. Staff not very friendly but it 's ok we did not have problems. Distance to the center is 12-15 minutes by foot so not far. Nevertheless, the beds were not done for a week as well...
