The Romano House is perfectly located... A short walk to all the key sites in Catania! The staff was warm, friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our room was spacious and spotless. A perfect choice!

Have stayed at this hotel and I find it very convenient being a walking distance to the open market, also short distance from the main train station .5 mins to the nearest bus stop in Corso Sicilia and to many coffee bars were you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a drink . The bedrooms are a nice...

Room was very clean and modern, but all the rooms in the hotel faced the street and we could hear every car passing by our windows. Breakfast was good but everyday they served exactly the same food. Overall it was a very nice experience, but a price for the room was a little expensive considering the facts above.

At the end of our 16-day tour of Sicily, we stayed at Hotel Romano House for 5 nights. We had lots of great experiences to compare this hotel to and I can't give it a strong score. (1) It is noisy (room in quirky front of hotel), (2) the AC didn't work until we asked twice, (3) the bathroom door...

Staff are extremely helpful, booked all our excursions through the hotel reception gave us directions where we needed to go, very friendly staff. Our only problem would be we booked a superior twin room but we actually found the room small upside was it was spotless...

Stayed here for 2 nights in room 118 in October. Hotel is located centrally & apparently in the Red Light district however I think the location was relatively safe. The hotel room was huge and I loved the decor. Bathroom was great also even though the shower is open and water splashes on the floor. Breakfast has a great selection....

Quite a nice entrance to this old building and very modern once inside. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. My room was at the back of the hotel on the ground floor. On entering the room my first thought that this must be what a bedroom on Starship Enterprise would be like! Minimalistic and practical furniture, not designed for...

We stayed at Romano House for 3 nights while in Catania. Friendly staff and very clean rooms. Spacious rooms with high ceilings and strong air con. Note that the hotel does NOT have free parking. There is, however, a paid parking lot one block down from the hotel. You'll see a lot of prostitutes in the area but don't be...
