I was put on the spot to find a place to stay when I arrived in cagliari and La Ghirlanda was the only B&B with vacancies to promptly answer their email and did I luck out. Perfect location to do anything in Calgiari due to its proximity to the bus station (right across street) and its central location in the...

This B&B is in a good location and easy to find in the street next door to the city's department store 'La Rinascente'. Lovely large room with high ceilings, two windows opening onto side street, nicely decorated furniture, comfortable bed, ensuite with shower. There was some street noise, as you would expect in a busy city. We were disappointed with...

On arriving in Cagliari on Friday afternoon my girlfriend and I were due to sail around Sardinia on the family yacht but a problem arose in the marina and meant we couldn't get to our boat until Monday, while looking for a place to stay for the weekend we contacted our Sardinian friend Rosa who contacted the lovely owners of...

This is actually a big flat, converted into a small hotel. Good location. Rooms are cosy and nice decorated. Problem is the owner, who lives in the same flat. We were a group, travelling together. We watched Eurovision on TV together when the owner, dressed in pants invaded the room shouting that after 22:00 everybody must go ino their rooms...

Walking into our room literally took our breath away. We had just arrived in Sardinia and felt welcomed and at home. The décor is lovely and thoughtfully done and the room overlooked our little street. The scent of the cheese shop across the way wafted occasionally our way. The inn is in close proximity to lovely shops and to the...

Very central, spacious double room with a big bed, clean, pretty room. Above all, great hosts that provide an attentive, charming, sweet service. The only slight downside is that being so central, it is a bit noisy at night, but if one decides to be right in the centre of the action, it's a worth while compromise.

This was our first trip to Sardinia and we went for 2 nights to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. The couple who run the B&B were amazing. They welcomed us as if we were family, presented us with champagne cocktail when we arrived and couldn't have been more helpful. The guy spoke very little English but that did not...

The B&B is above all extremely clean and cosy. The location is just perfect, very close to the seaside and at the same time at only 5 min walk to the city center. Rooms are spacious, quiet and fully furnished. Mrs Antonia and her husband bring you a huge and wonderful breakfast every morning at a time of your choosing...

This B & B is run by a lovely couple who couldn't do more for you and spoke enough English to make themselves understood and considering our lack of Italian we manage to communicate pretty effectively. The room we had was at the front, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and air conditioned. There was lots of attention to detail. towels tied...

Stayed for 4 nights in June 2013. Carmelo was lovely and met us late at night to help us find parking and was helpful with info and suggestions about what to do. The room is large and clean. Loved the location, right in the marina and steps away from Via Roma so you can walk to everything. The breakfast is...

“We only have our room which was on the street. While it was a bit noisy at night, we enjoyed listening to people having fun below and it quieted in plenty of time to get a good night's sleep.”

“The room we had was large and on the front of the hotel. It was very large and very comfortable It was a little noisy but we still slept well. It might be better to sleep at the back of the building if you have trouble sleeping.”
