This B&B is uphill from the harbor and central city, but walkable. We had a marvelous view from our suite and a spacious room (there are several different rooms). There is also a sitting area on the roof terrace for the views and to eat breakfast. Michele is the host and his family has owned this building for several generations....

We stayed in Kastrum for 3 nights. Very good localization, in the old part of the city, quiet, amazing view from the terrace which is never closed. Perfect room, with good bathroom, shower, all you need is in there. Nice breakfasts in the morning and very helpful Michele :) thank you, Michele!

The location of the place is excellent. Although not being in the trendy areas by the beach, therefore lack of dining or shopping options, it is very quiet, peaceful and almost magical late at night in the Castello district. And the walk down to the trendier areas is quite straightforward, as long as you are not hauling the luggage. The...

We stayed at Residenza Kastrum in late September 2014. Kastrum is a charming B&B in a historic townhouse, and our room was spacious and charming in an understated way, with everything we could have expected in terms of features, including bottled water and air conditioning. There is a small communal area indoors, and a fantastic rooftop terrace which is open...

“You can park the car in front of the Cahedral, just across the street for a short while, then you need to move the car in front of the Police Station or Apocoa parking. I recommend to park in front of the Police Station as it has a great view and you can have a good walk. Apocoa parking was a little bit difficult for us to get out of once we had parked.”
