THe estate is lovely olive farm with a beautiful garden and pool. THe rooms are average and the bed is not the most comfortable. for an Italian lodging the morning coffee is not the best and the wifi connectivity is poor. it is important to remember if you stay here you will need a car to get everywhere.......i.

It really feels like you're in the country, the hotel is surrounded by trees. It has a beautiful pool and an excellent breakfast. The hotel is right outside Alghero, you need to have a car to go into the center and to the beaches. Delio, the owner, is really nice and available to give you excellent recommendations on what to...

Last week we came back from the fantastic holidays in Sardinie where we spend 2 weeks nearby Alghero in the gorgeous place Country Vessus Hotel. We went to many places for holidays but this time we'll remember our holidays forever. From the first minute we met the owner Delio we knew we made a right choice. Delio welcomed us with...

Stayed only two nights and regretted that have not booked a longer stay. Loved the hotel style: good quality furniture, charming design, two storey buildings and beatiful garden around. Pool area is lovely, you can tan in the sun or stay in the shade of the trees. It is a family-run place, and the owner shows lots of care. Good...

This was the first place we stayed on a trip around the island. The service was brilliant. When we arrived we were starving, and as most places nearby were shut (restaurants/shops tend to close in the middle of the afternoon out of high season) the manager made us some sandwiches even though they don't serve food apart from breakfast, which...

When there is nothing you would change about a place, you know you were up for quite a treat. That was what we felt with Vessus. The owner was incredibly nice, our room was absolutely perfect with a huge and cozy terrace, the pool area was absolutely perfect to spend some time relaxing. This was a great base for our...

Very nice albergo in the middle of an olive trees plantation, built with a touching attention to charming details. Nice and cosy rooms, swimming pool in the middle of a green area, free parking and a very good restaurant serving the guests (except Mondays). Car (as a general rule to be followed in Sardegna) is a must, nice beaches being...

Close to Alghero (2,5 km but not to walk) you can find this nice hotel/country retreat. Nice owner an daughter in law. Good breakfast clean rooms. The restaurant is also very good and run by another manager. If you arrive late and want to eat in Vessus I advice you to mail the hotel upfront, as especially in the weekends...

Hotel Country Vessus is located just outside Alghero, about 3 minutes' drive from town (not close enough for walking distance) in a gated olive grove that once used to house a monastery. It is a beautiful, homely house overlooking the olive trees, with views out to the sea (from the top floor) and across the mountains to the side and...

Lovely Italian villa amidst 14 ha of olive trees. Very quiet location, yet only 5 min. drive from the city centre of Alghero. Nice little garden with swimming pool. Room: large room on the ground floor, decorated with love, with terrace. Sleep quality: good, room could be darkened very easily with shutters. No noise at all. Parking: large private parking...

“The sllep quality was excellent due to the very good beds and pillows. Any of the rooms would be acceptable , although the is no lift , so if stairs are a problem choose a ground floor room. Is is very quiet unless the dogs bark!!”
