Charming hotel right in the middle of the historic downtown. Can't beat this location. Breakfast in the cloisters was fantastic! Staff were incredibly friendly. Beds pretty hard but room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again! Wifi in common room but not in our room-probably those thick monastery walls.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Hotel San Francesco. The service was great, both at breakfast and at our returns we were greeted with a smile of recognition. Eating breakfast on the gallery of the monastery was a lovely start of the day. Very clean. Minor thing: our mattresses were quite hard and squeaked a little, and we could...

As you step in from the powerful heat of a summer's day the cool stillness of this hotel (old monastery) envelops you and the welcome is sincere. We had booked this adults only hotel in order to enjoy some quiet time and this we found in abundance. I could imagine the monks in the sanctity of the cool rooms within...

Charming hotel in the middle of old town Alghero. It is clean, friendly staffed and charming. Dont plan on driving to the front door. Be prepared to find and pay for parking somewhere at least 5min walk from the place. The rooms are very plain and simple, but well kept. Ok breakfast, dont expect eggs and bacon.

the only good thing i can say about this hotel is that the location is great, right in the old town and close to the bus stop and the staff were friendly. BUT the bed was horribly uncomfortable and noisy, i could hear everything from the other rooms and the curtains were ripped and the blinds were broken. it was...

Possibly one the most unusually historic settings for your breakfast in the cloisters Clean and comfortable rooms. English spoken at reception. Breakfast fairly basic but freshly made coffee and a range of teas available. Delightfully different. In the old town great for exploring the old streets

Great place to stay in Alghero. Rooms are simple but comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious. The hotel is central in a quiet street. Bathroom is small but clean and soap is provided. The breakfast in the cloister is peaceful and sunny.

This hotel is not a luxury place, but it's serene, clean and well located! We loved our stay here, staff was nice and the room was pleasant. Breakfast was pleasant with a view over the courtyard. Lovely!

The hotel is in a prime position - the only hotel in the middle of the 'centro storico' - but still on a quiet street. Bars and restaurants are all around - less than 2 minutes walk away and the bus station and harbour are 5 minutes walk. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a bit...

My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights. Very good location lots of the museums, churches and galleries close by. About 7 min walk from the bus terminus in a small side street. Our double room was a good size and very clean, shower worked well but rather small. WE had no problems with noise from other guests or...
