Highly recommended for driving travellers for the private carpark and the commanding view of Verona upon the hill above the city. Try to join the evening wine tour and have dinner at the restaurant which is of high quality due to the fresh ingredients grown on site.

Wonderful location, calm. Super friendly staff. Restaurant excellent value for money, 28€ for 5 courses! Wine is very good especially the Amarone. Rooms in the Annex wonderful with parquet floor, large bathroom, and very quiet, very close to nature. Views of Verona unbeatable.

A very comfortable stay in the perfect place outside the city. The bus route in to the city was useful. Breakfast is delicious and the wines produced are very high quality. Be sure to do the wine tour.

Remarkable place, well worth a detour. Lunch is great view/value/money too. Note that there's convenient free parking down the hill, a short walk from the centre of Verona. Note also that the oxidative wine is not for everyone, but worth trying.

We enjoyed the beautiful farm/hotel/restaurant for three days. It is really special, with homemade yougurt at breakfast, beautiful rooms and the most wonderful view of the town. You need a good map to find the place, or keep asking, everybody seem to know it.

Excellent quiet location overlooking the old town of Verona. The rooms are clean and adequately furnished. The staffs are friendly and helpful. It is the view and the atmosphere made this a very special stay. Going into centre is about 10 minutes drive down the hill. Verona is a must visit - quite different from Venice. I would suggest you...

This family run winery and farm is delightful. The site is beautiful overlooking Verona. The staff is attentive and enthusiastic. The rooms are comfortable and modern. Excellent showers! Families and couples seem equally comfortable here. A path makes a nice 30 minute walk to the center of Verona. It is a long climb back up but a bus goes close...

We took a 4 night weekend stay in Verona. Enjoyed the area and hospitalty at San Mattia. We walked around the farm and had a lovely chat with one of the farmers on the property. He showed me the horses and also gave us some additional background about the history of the agriturismo.

We stayed in San Mattia after spending few days exploring Verona, and used it as a base for daytrips deeper into Valpolicella region. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, with great views to the city both morning and after dinner.
