Caterina and the ladies who operate Hotel Torcolo offer old world service and elegance. These are truly great ladies! It is the best location in Verona for walking, restaurants and sites. Rooms are very comfortable with anything you would ever need or require. If your tired of chain hotels and want to experience an old Italian hotel book your reservation...

If you intend to visit Verona Opera Event, and want to stay in the heart of it for a most reasonable price, I would highly recommend Torcolo. With its only 2 stars it combines the charm of authentic old Italian house with cleanness and comfort (including old-fashioned but very silent-working air conditioner) that will satisfy the guest. Located just several...

Good location. Easy to miss Staff at the desk are old and fussy. Very abrupt but helpfull. Very dark rooms and tight elevator. Old style place surrounded by nice restaurants. Breakfast was not good. Verona is beautiful place to stay.

We stayed one night in the hotel and the owner of the hotel was very nice and helpful. The hotel room was very clean and the bed was excellent to sleep. Breakfast was good and nice sitting outside on the street.

Hotel Torcolo is a family-run, modest hotel that is centrally-located in Verona. It is minutes away from the Arena, so location-wise, it is perfect if you plan to spend a night at the opera. The rooms at the hotel are small but comfortable. The flooring in my room seemed to need some updating because it wasn't level. The bathroom tiling...

Family-run little hotel in a wonderful location not far from Piazza Bra. Wonderful staff made us feel like family. Very informative and helpful with suggestions of restaurants and things to do. The hotel itself was old and a little dated but our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with nicely functioning air conditioning.

The hotel is a comfortable family run establishment that we have been visiting occasionally for the last ten years. It is situated in a quiet backstreet a five minute walk from the Arena where spectacular operas are performed in the summer - the hotel will book tickets for you if necessary. An excellent continental breakfast is included, and next door...

We booked the Hotel Torcolo for two nights in Verona en route to a friend's 70th birthday in Arco, on the advice of friends in our village who had stayed there 10 years ago. They were not wrong. It's lovely family run hotel in an old building right off the main Piazza Bra'. Helpful reception, very comfortable beds, efficient air...

This is the second year in a row we have stayed while attending the opera festival. They recognized us the second we walked in and greeted us like long lost family. The ladies at the desk are elegant and charming and a joy to speak with. Three friends also booked in this year as it was also my birthday and...

We are here before going to the arena for a performance in the evening. The food here is very authentic Italian food and is of a fantastic quality. Be aware that there are no real soft drink options for anyone not drinking alcohol. The courtyard setting is very romantic and a hidden little gem round the corner of the piazza....
