For your few days in Verona. Picturesque, solid house now a b&b hotel. Comfortable, classic style. Helpful, friendly staff, pleasant, low key owner. Easy but downhill walk to the city just the other side of the river. Plenty to eat continental brerakfast although when it's gone it's gone. Needs better muesli rather than coco-pops. Noisy twin Nespresso machine dominates breakfast...

There are plenty of hotels in the city centre and I chose this one especially because it is not, rather it is in a residential district which is about ten minutes' walk across the river to the edge of the old city. I was delighted with my choice of location and hotel. We were allocated the Library Room which is...

Charming 19th century house converted into small hotel. Very comfortable. Helpful charming staff led by the owner. Thoroughly recommended. Pleasant walk in quiet streets to the Roman Theatre and only 15 minutes walk from centre of old city.

A 10 minute or so walk across the bridge into the old city suited us fine. Our room was large & comfortable as was the bathroom. Sylvia on the front desk spoke excellent english & was extremely helpful with maps, restaurant recommendations and ideas for places to visit on our drive to Lake Garda. It would be nice perhaps to...

Owner was lovely - very helpful and friendly. The place is full of charm and character and our room a treat. About a 20-30 minute walk from town. Plenty of parking - didn't need the car once we had arrived - everything is in walking distance. Can be a little bit of a challenge to find the entrance, but the...

We have just returned from 3 nights in Verona and delighted with our choice of hotel. A large, bright room and spacious bathroom and shower. A short walk to the centre of town and the brief steep slope welcome to burn off the calories (not easy access for all). Sylvia gave fabulous restaurant recommendations and helpful advice for travel for...

The room we had resembled a library, and as well as an en-suite toilet and shower it also had a glazed balcony giving a great view over the city. The patron and staff were all extremely solicitous and welcoming. Situated up a steep hill in a quiet (apart from the cicadas) street, the walk from the town was pretty demanding...

It was opera season in Verona. And it was HOT. These two things made us appreciate this hotel. First of all, it was comparatively reasonable in price. It was in a quiet area, but still convenient. Within a short walking distance, you could get into the old town and to the piazzas near the opera. There is private parking. The...

We stayed here as a base for a long weekend so that we could catch the train to Venice, hire a car to tour around Lake Garda and walk in to explore the old city. Ideal for us when we did not need to spend lots of time in a hotel but still wanted a comfortable stay. The rooms are...
