This tiny hotel in Cannaregio neighborhood of Venice gets 4 circles from me because of it's great location, friendly and accommodating service, cleanliness, price, generous breakfast. It was not luxurious by any stretch. I stayed 2 nights with my sister. Room was small, 2 twin...More

There was so much wrong with this *hotel* that it is hard to say it all. This was our 7th visit to Venice and whilst not the cheapest by any means but without doubt the worst all the others were good or excellent. To arrive...More

Great quiet location, breakfast was a bit hit and miss and delivered to your room not eaten downstairs in the dining room. Facilities were basic but clean and the staff helpful, good for the price and only a ten minute walk from the station

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
