The Hilton is not located in central Venice but is across the Giudecca canal. We stayed there three nights on an Insight Vacation Tour. The hotel was perfect for our stay. The view across the water to Venice is beautiful. The rooms are large, new and decorated nicely. The beds were comfortable and the walk-in shower was welcome after some...

Perfect location to escape from the caos crowds on the other side of the canal, yet only an 8 min free shuttle boat service across the water. Fantastic canal views from the front rooms, lovely high ceilings and wonderful beds. Wonderful rooftop bar and swimming pool with gorgeous views of all Venice, best place to see the sunset and enjoy...

This is a beautiful hotel, looks new yet it has the "Venice feel" - we would surely come back again. As usual the staff at Hilton are always very good "speaks good english, friendly and helpful" We were at Hilton Milan before and to us "the concierge at most Hilton is always the best" - Thank You. My experience in Veneza was great from the beggining till the end. This Hotel is very charming, was built in an old factory and is very well preserved. Although the hotel is not in the main island, you can easily catch the free boat to the city center in every half an hour.

I would do my research before hand if I were you. Lovely staff lilli-Anna I think she was called was very nice. Bar staff upstairs not so nice....

Excellent stay, we were on points and got fantastic service. hotel is on Guidecca Island but they have a shuttle to and from Zattere and San Marco all day. Guidecca is a wonderful residential island with several very good family restaurants.

We Stayed here for 2 nights. Our Water Taxi ride from the airport to the Hotel was fantastic! Upon arrival the hotel looked magnificant. Because we arrived early we were aware that we would be unable to check in but our Luggage was taken & we were told that as soon as our room was ready it would be waiting...

I was concerned about the location of this hotel because I couldn't seem to find a good map of its location. It is across the canal from Venice. The hotel has a nice shuttle that runs frequently across to Venice. There were no shops on the island where the hotel is located, except the gift shop inside the hotel. There...

as diamond at Hilton and Platinum at Marriot i've stayed at a number of great hotels. The European versions of these chains tend to be nicer than their US relations but among the extremely nice hotels we've stayed at in Europe, the Molino Stucky Hilton stands out. Very attentive staff - all interested in making your stay in Venice enjoyable....

I really recommend you spend a little more and reserve a "room with a view". Here really worth having a window for the channel. The hotel is relatively new and was built taking advantage of an old mill - Molino Stucky. The location is good, being out of the mess and offering a shuttle boat to Piazza San Marco. However,...

Staying in Giudecca

Neighbourhood Profile
Giudecca
Giudecca is a retreat for Venetians away from the crowds. Symbolically, six metal teeth represent Venice’s six sestieri (districts); the seventh, Guidecca, points away from the others – part of Dorsoduro, but separated by the Giudecca Canal. Giudecca evolved from a center of shipyards and factories to a quiet residential area with a sprinkling of restaurants and bars. The majestic harmonious Redentore church stands as thanks for delivering Venice from the plague, hosting an annual heartfelt festival.
