We checked in on 28 April for a 3 night stay. Our room felt stuffy and we had read reviews that there was no aircon. Not comfortable with this we approached Annimi, the Guest Relations Manager, who then referred us to Antonio Garcia, the Director of Operations. He informed us that the aircon pumps had broken down and required new... More

I booked an Executive Suite with View and a Dinner on the 1st night, and i found a lovely room with a priceless view of the lagoon. Dinner had a limited choice but all of them was nice and made with quality food. I always like sleep at this hotel. i suggest it to everybody.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon. I checked into the hotel for 2 nights. We got back to the room around 10 PM and called the front desk. No A/C, no empty rooms.... Sound familiar??? I was using Hilton Points, 100K for 2 nights. After a night of heat, no breeze, vicious bugs, a less than pleasant sewage... More

Very nice hotel. The only thing that would have been better is if the hotel was on Venice proper. Not a big deal to take the water taxi, but you have too. Jr. suite was large and well equipped. The bed was fantastic.

Although a nice location the room was in a poor state of repair: broken side to mirror, torn wallpaper and hole in bedside cabinet. We also found the complimentary boat a bit of scrum as it was on the same quay as the Lido/mainland boat which arrived just before the Hilton one. For the money we'd advise booking on the... More

Wonderful hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant, attentive and professional. Wonderful food and excellent base for our Silver Wedding weekend visit to Venice. The courtesy shuttle is a great service and makes it easy to get to the city and all the sights.

This hotel is a little pricey, but it is worth it. Absolutely excellent stay, they provide complimentary transportation at all times from the hotel to Piazza San Marco. The concierge was friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, spacious, etc. The best part is Bacaromi restaurant. Giuseppe will personally see to it that you have a great time and a great meal.

Hilton Molino is a great hotel in every sense, good rooms, good service and good food. The installations are brand new, as if the hotel had been just opened. It is not in the main island, where the touristic attractions are, but conveniently so, as you are away from the crowds, but still 15' away by a private shuttle boat... More

Staying in Giudecca

Neighbourhood Profile
Giudecca
Giudecca is a retreat for Venetians away from the crowds. Symbolically, six metal teeth represent Venice’s six sestieri (districts); the seventh, Guidecca, points away from the others – part of Dorsoduro, but separated by the Giudecca Canal. Giudecca evolved from a center of shipyards and factories to a quiet residential area with a sprinkling of restaurants and bars. The majestic harmonious Redentore church stands as thanks for delivering Venice from the plague, hosting an annual heartfelt festival.
