The house, which once belonged to Alma Mahler, the composer's widow who lived there in the 1920's, lies next to a small canal just a stone’s throw from the Church of the Frari, has now been turned into an exclusive but homely retreat. This enchanting place in the hearth of Venice offers something unique to those visiting the city. Our guests will feel that they have really found a home away from home.

San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.

It’s in the San Polo neighborhood, on a secondary canal (which makes transportation to and from the Piazzale Roma by water taxi really easy) and right next to the Frari church, closest to the San Toma vaporetto stop. Charming converted residence of Alma Mahler- only...More

We loved this discreetly luxurious hotel with its delightful garden! It is ideally situated, right in the centre of Venice, yet away from the bustle in a quiet dead end street, only 5-10mn away from all the sights. The staff is charming as well.More
