Ca'Morosini is a nice guesthouse to spend a couple of days in Venice. Service is gentle. Room was clean as well as sheets and towels. Breakfast served in your room. Air conditiong and Wifi were working perfectly during our staying. As any guesthouse, do not expect to have front desk and crew available full time. Excelent location besides St Stefano...

the hotel is centrally located in the main island of venice. It is just 300 m away from the academia water taxi stand and is walkable distance from the same. the owner Ms. Rafella is extremely helpful and supportive. The place is simple and yet up to date with basic amenities.

With a perfect guide how to get to the hotel from the boat landing we found a lovely hotel with a few rooms on two levels. We spent the first night in a tiny room with a bit broken toilet(it kept flushing all the time). The morning after we went down stairs to register. Then the owner asked us if...

We enjoyed our stay at Ca'Morosini and would stay here again without a doubt. It is not a luxury hotel but it does not claim to be. We had the entire 3rd floor to ourselves, the rooms are comfortable and everything was in working order although some of the fixtures in the bathroom need updated. Breakfast was simple but had...

Ca'Morosini is in an excellent location for seeing Venice on foot or by using the very local water bus stop. Our room was very clean and tidy, with views over the square. Our breakfast was as expected, with coffee/juice,breads and toasts with preserve. Raffaella was very welcoming and helpful, with timetables etc.We would re-book in the future for sure.

Ca' Morosini! Loved this hotel booked via Air BNB. So cute and acquainting and really charming - albeit hard to find it if you cant read maps or Italian Ca'Morosini! We did get lost on the first day but after you know you know! Had a power/water cut on the first night but it was fixed in the hour. Serive...

Loved this hotel. Beautiful rooms that are exactly like the pictures. Hotel is in a great location easy walking distance to all the best sights. Easy access to the water bus and taxi. Lots of shops and restaurants near by. Breakfast is continental. Host Rafaella was lovely and could not do enough to help with anything we needed.

Ca’ Morosini is a guest room: that means that there is no 24h reception, but everything else is there: spacious room with a comfortable bed (We had booked an economy double room. On;y problem that we couldn’t control the heating and the room was quite hot), private clean bathroom with toiletries, wi-fi connection that worked almost perfectly. Rafaella (the owner)...

The room was large and bed comfortable. Clean Bathroom with toiletries. Free coffe/tea in the room and free good Wi-fi! The location is really perfect, from Ca'Morosini you can easily visit Venice by walk. Raffaella was helpful and friendly, she makes us feel welcomed and at home. She offered recommendations for things to local restaurants outside of tourist areas. I...

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
