Fantastic little B and B....very grandly decorated in venetian style. Beds and pillows really comfy, air conditioning brilliant and small fridge just big enough to accommodate our small bottles of water. Really quiet location but truely a five min walk to see front and further five to St Marks Sq. Area seems private secluded amazing considering how busy some areas... More

This is a gem of a B&B! Easy to get to from the airport, excellent service and great rooms. Alberto knew exactly what we wanted and guided us & gave great suggestions for places to go and places to eat. The rooms are lovely and clean with everything you need, especially A/C which was perfect given the hot weather. The... More

Booked this hotel for my parents to join our family on a short break to Venice. They absolutely loved their stay. Hospitality from the owners was fantastic, they couldn't do enough to ensure they had a great time right until the moment they left Venice. Thank you.

I can't find fault on customer service. Floriana, the Countess called us even before we arrived to make sure we are on the right direction. She helped us with the bag from the water taxi, up to our room. The hotel/room is v clean, neat and cosy. Cooked Breakfast and fresh juice offered. Bone China tableware are used which make... More

We stayed three nights in Ca'Furlan and it was definitely the highlight of our honeymoon in Italy! The hotel was beautiful and romantic, the location amazing, breakfast was also great! And the tips we got for where to eat and what to see were spot-on! It was thanks to Floriana and Marco that we enjoyed Venice so much! We hope... More

The hotel is in a quiet cul-de-sac location, with a nice peaceful canal on the other side, but within an easy walk of St. Mark's square and other central attractions. The owners are very friendly and hospitable, and go out of their way to help. The breakfast is also very good, everything is fresh and tasty. Everything in the room... More

This small and very quiet BnB is a jewel! Fantastic rooms with romantic yet tasteful decor. Breakfast is in a small dining room, and they'll try to meet all your expectations. It's a bit off the beaten path, and we enjoyed the quietness in this very busy city. Ca' Furlan made our trip to Venice an even greater experience!

This is a simply perfect B&B in a lovely quiet location, but a mere 10 min. walk to St Marks Square. Our flight was delayed for 8 hours and we eventually arrived at 7.00am feeling extremely tired. The B&B is a little hard to find initially and we did get a bit lost in the lovely streets. However, Alberto came... More

My husband took me on a surprise trip to Venice for my birthday and this is where we stayed for two nights. When you arrive it's kind of down a little ally (of which I guess is most of Venice...!) with just a small plaque saying ca' furlan. Inside the decoration is marble flooring and cream walls giving it a... More

Staying in Castello

Neighbourhood Profile
Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

Located near San Marco Square, in the historic Castello district, Ca Furlan is a welcoming, charming and refined B&B furnished in Venetian style, attentively cared for in every detail and perfect for a romantic stay in Venice.
