After searching the for a good hour we eventually found the hotel down an alleyway. I would definitely advise using the hotels directions and map. Great modern hotel with a comfy bed, we were only using it as we weren't in Venice long but it was perfect. Close to everything in Venice. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice good sized modern room with spacious impeccable bathroom. Great quiet sunroof terrace, airport waterbus stops right in front, situated around the corner of the ghetto Vecchio, excellent local produce shops

I stayed at Ca Pazzo Inn for 2 nights back in September 2016 and enjoyed my stay. I choose this hotel due to the location from the train station. I read a lot of reviews here for directions and also the hotels website has good directions. When you exit the station just make a left and follow the street till...

We have stayed here on two separate visits to Venice, and would choose it again. It is an easy ten minute walk from Venice's train station, across one small bridge, and is up a small alley from the Guglie Canal close to useful canal stop. The first time we arrived by air and caught a water taxi direct from the...

The rooms was beautiful and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel was veru nice. In the middle of the Jewish neighbourhood Cannaregio, away from the San Marco square circus. I would definitely go back here! :)

Very well located, the hotel is at the end of a small alley just off the Guglie vaporetto stop. An old building (or set of buildings) that has been tastefully modernised. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I endorse all the positive reviews and have just three quibbles. First, I eat little breakfast but expect a good quality orange...

The room was spacious, the bed size pretty large. Also thankful to one of the receptionists who waited up for us past midnight because our flight was delayed, so that was great. All in all a great hotel that I'd recommend to anyone. No issues.

While down an obscure alley, it's close to the water taxi, and the property itself is entirely modern. Great art, high ceilings, big rooms for Venice, and a good location in a neighborhood that has some better 'locals' restaurants than usual.

Our second visit to this hotel (we were here last year too), albeit this time a brief one. The Ca Pozzo staff were very helpful in offering us accommodation at very short notice when we needed to find two rooms for the night after a cancelled flight (again!). Good rooms, nice breakfast, great location and excellent value. Thank you Ca...

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighbourhood Profile
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
