You just couldn't do better for the price. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was large, clean and very quiet. Even has a lift. Very unusual for Venice.Highly recommended. The hotel is more like an apartment building. It occupies level 3 & 4 of the building. It is tucked away and not signposted, so hard to find unless...

It's the perfect place to stay in Venezia !!! In the center, 15 minutes from the station and same time to St Marco. Also right on the Canale Grande. The breakfast room view is wonderful and the breajfast itself is very good. People are very nice and helpful.

When we arrived at Ca Angeli it was late afternoon after traveling from Rome. Our room was already taken so we had to "rough it" in one of the upgraded suites! The room overlooked the waterway and we watched the gondolas go by. The bathroom was quite oversized with updated tub and shower that looked like something out of an...

We stayed at Ca' Angeli for a few days in October, 2016, and highly recommend it. The location in Venice is perfect - enough out of the way of all the tourists, but within a reasonable walk of just about anything in Venice. The room we had (#3) was fantastic for two people, with a bit of a view of...

Very nice small hotel, windows via Canal Grande :-) Staff professional and nice. And breakfast bio and very very delicious, fresh fruit or fresh juice. In this hotel we were 3x and we were very satisfied and happy there. Vaporetto is 3 minutes.

My husband and I had a 12 day trip in Italy and ended our final night in Venice before flying home. After seeing our accommodations at Ca' Angeli (Jr Suite overlooking the water) we wanted to stay longer! The views were amazing, bed was very comfortable, and service superb! We enjoyed sleeping with our windows open at night to hear...

My family of 6 decided to make an overnight trip to Venice during our 2 weeks in Italy. Ca' Angeli was an amazing find for my family. It is a small hotel with a great location. I was able to see a range of accommodations. We had one large room overlooking the canal, one with a queen bed and plenty...

We had a lovely 2 night stay in this magical gem of a place situated right on the Grand Canal - so breakfast overlooked the hustle and bustle of gondolas, ferries and taxis all moving up and down in front of you. The accommodation was large, comfortable, clean with modern amenities and the owners were very accommodating with our requests...

Found the hotel fairly easily, which is always quite an accomplishment in Venice! We got off at the Rialto stop from the airport and carried our luggage over the bridge, which was fine. Not worth waiting for another water ferry to get us over to the other side of the canal. Definitely not a 5 minute walk from the bridge,...

This small gem is on the Grand Canal with an excellent view from the dining area. The rooms are spacious, stylish with modern amenities. The staff is very attentive and lacks the aloofness one sometimes finds in this beautiful, but overrun, city. I loved the location... a few steps to beautiful alleys in a busy but not overly crowded area...

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
