Terrific value and we loved the location - close enough to St. Mark's and the vaporetto stops but off a smaller street so it didn't feel too touristy. The staff was very accommodating of our check-in/check-out time requests and had no complaints about watching our bags in the interim. We were grateful for the free map.

Loved the price and location so close to both St. Mark's Square and the vaporetto. Very clean and the staff was very accommodating for check-in/check-out at odd times of the day. We were grateful for the free map and local suggestions.

This is the second time I've been to Venice and I must say that this hotel is a safe and reliable stay. Great location as it is just off St. Marc's square, clean rooms, small and cozy, free water in the minifridge and best of all it has a FULL SHOWER SCREEN! I cannot begin to state how much I...

Very impressed with the establishment. Centrally situated - 5 minute walk to St Marks Square. Room was clean, with all the necessary amenities. Staff helpful and service good. Nice continental breakfast. Overall, a very good stay.

Very central location, a few minutes to Piazza San Marco, and plenty of restaurant within a short distance. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the lady-receptionist. Clean room, but without view, and bathroom quite small. Good basic breakfast.

Beautiful little boutique hotel in a central position. Staff were helpful and friendly and rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Absolutely superb value for money and would thoroughly recommend staying here when in Venice.

Hoped for a double room but had we had booked a double bed however the room included two single beds joined together which was really uncomfortable. Poor wifi connection too and rubbish breakfast. Good location though and nice staff plus the room was clean at least.

It is very centrally located in San Marco and easy for water taxi (get off at realto bridge or san marco) and main sights. It is good value for such a central location and a historic building. Room and bathroom not massive, certainly ours felt smaller than one in picture above. Also most rooms off the reception area on 1st...

I spent 1 night at Ca' del Nobile with my girlfriend. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location a close to San Marcos. Plenty of options for dinning around the area. Basic but good breakfast.

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
