From the initial booking of the hotel where the team offered advance trip advice to the final day, the Ai Reali hotel exceeded our expectations. It is a beautifully centrally located hotel convenient for all of the sites. The hotel itself is luxurious but not...More
We visited Italy for my partners 30th and chose Ai Reali as a Birthday treat for 4 nights - we were so glad we did! The hotel is stunning, and we could not have hoped for a better location. Our room was the epitome of...More

My husband and I went to Venice for a 3 night break and stayed at Hotel Ai Reali di Venezia. From the moment we stepped in the hotel the service was second to none. The gentleman at the front desk provided us with a map...More

The staff and the location were really good. I have not given an excellent rating because of two things. The decor is tired and sub par for what one would expect from a 4 star hotel and we were charged 25 euros each to use...More

Dear Richard M,
We are glad to see that you appreciated the staff and our central and convenient location, just few minutes away from the major sights Venice has to offer.

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a
strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.

You walk within the airport following the signs to the river taxi and bus. We used the waterbus, vaporetto and you can buy tickets at the quay side. I think it was €17 return and it stops at the Rialto Bridge. From there it is a 5 minute walk but download an Venice offline app to help you find the hotel.
It only takes 5 mins to walk from the arrivals to the quay side and there are walkways if you have limited mobility. It will work have confidence (transfer takes about 20 mins

We stayed in a classic room in June. We overlooked a small square with a limited view of the canal to the right. It was on the 1st floor, off the main staircase.. We enjoyed having the windows open and looking out at the people below. We never saw or heard one mosquito.
At night we even left the windows open. It was so quiet and we had no problem sleeping. When the Windows are shut the air conditioning strikes up, and it was very good. Classic rooms are of a very good standard. Hope this helps. You will enjoy hotel Ai Reali.
