This a great location to stay in Venice. it's close enough to the tourist spots with being far enough away to not be overwhelmed by all the tourists. It's in a quiet side street near Campo San Polo. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The room had everything that we could need. Overall, a perfect place to stay in...

We were welcomed by the lovely Alessandra who was extremely helpful and was always there if ever needed. The apartment is secure, fairly modern and equipped with pretty much everything. Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
