Where do I start I booked to stay at this hotel three years ago at the start of the covid pandemic. I contacted the hotel via email due to travel restrictions and had a quick response offering me a voucher which I could use within the next 12 months however the pandemic continued. I contact Giocomo to ask if I could still use the voucher even though it had expired. This was no problem at all so I booked to stay in March 2022. The night before I was due to travel I tested positive for covid so was unable to travel . I contacted Giocomo at the hotel to explain and we’re able to move my stay again to stay In May. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by name the owners and the staff were all so friendly and very helpful. The room was perfect clean and comfortable with air conditioning which was needed. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Our breakfast were outstanding with plenty to choose from continental and English breakfast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast and much more. Would definitely recommend this hotel it was easy to find lovely little seating area out the front. I will miss having my cafe latte sat in the sun in such a welcoming and friendly hotel. …
I love this hotel. I've stayed there enough times that it feels like coming home when I arrive. The location is perfect--close to Piazzale Roma (the bus/car park) and the train station, but tucked into a quiet corner. It's literally steps from the Grand Canal. This side of the canal is my favorite part of Venice. The staff here is very kind and friendly, the breakfast is substantial, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfy. I've already got a reservation for next spring. Everyone here is very COVID-conscious and doing everything they can to keep us safe. As someone who's just started traveling again after a two-year hiatus, I was very glad to see that.
Wildwood amazing little places is. Seven very close to the canal wonderful breakfast the host or fantastic and you won’t regret staying here. They have a little mini bar or you can order from and a wonderful breakfast when we go back to Venice we will definitely be staying here I highly suggest it. They also have rooms for singles doubles and even up to a three bedroom apartment for families
We stayed at Albergo Marin for three nights from 29.04.2022 to 02.05.2022 and I cannot speak more highly of the hotel and, especially, Giacomo, Michela and all the staff who just couldn't do enough for us (including helping us resolve our return watertaxi for the day of our departure) We had been looking forward to coming to Venice for so long as we had delayed our booking due to Covid travel restrictions but it was absolutely everything we had hoped for and the Marin just made it extra special This is the perfect destination hotel for a visit, just off the Grande Canal, behind the Carlton Hotel, and, as other reviewers have said it's about 20/30 minutes walking distance from The Rialto Bridge/Market and San Marco Square. The fact it is set back a little from The Grande Canal gives it a feel of a quite oasis in the midst of this busy, bustling, city which allows a little time to unwind and relax The rooms are very clean, the bed (in room 204) so comfortable and the breakfast is abundant and really tasty with extra coffee/tea available. What makes the whole experience extra special though are the team running the hotel, they are just so lovely and provide such helpful advice - we are so glad we went to Burano on the day of our arrival rather than later in the weekend - thank you for that recommendation Will we come back to Venice again ? Who knows. However, if we do, we will definately stay at Albergo Marin and would highly recommend others do so too. Thank you for making our dream stay in Vemnice extra special…
Just back from spending three nights here. As other reviewers have said the location is excellent, directly across the canal from the train station. The staff for me were what made the hotel, we followed up on a few of their restaurant recommendations and the food was as good as they said it would be. I have been promised a home made tiramisu from one of the ladies(sorry didn’t get her name) if I ever return, so will definitely be going back. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Venice
