Hotel's Favourite
This hotel was absolutely perfect for us! We visited Venice with our 2 kids and we couldn’t be happier with the acccommodation, service and location of this hotel. Our family suite had two rooms with sliding doors, one with a double bed and one with two singles, en suite bathroom and a balcony. The breakfast buffet was generous and the staff exceptionally nice. The hotel is in a quiet yet very well served area close to the station, vaporetto etc - perfect balance between quiet and services. Wold stay again!

Gentilissima Marta, Grazie mille for these beautiful words and thank you also for staying at the Carnival Palace Hotel! We are really happy that you enjoyed Carnival Palace Hotel so much from every point of view. Knowing that you have found our "perfect" hotel with a "great balance" between quiet and proximity to all types of services makes us really proud. We are also more than happy to know that our suite with two separate areas has made it possible for you to live this experience as comfortably as possible. In fact, thanks to the sliding doors, our guests can have the privacy they have at home without giving up an unforgettable family experience with their kids. We hope to see you again for more good times together at the Carnival Palace Hotel! Cordialmente, Martina S. Front Desk Carnival Palace - Venice Collection

A wonderful hotel on our short break to Venice. We arrived just after the flooding to find the city in perfect health and ready to welcome tourists. Before our arrival the team at the Hotel kept us updated, arranged transfers and booked restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a Suite which was beautifully decorated and cleaned and turned down daily ( lovely touch of a bottle of Prosecco in the room on arrival ) . Special mention must go to Giampaolo at the bar as his attitude and drinks recommendations were first rate. Location was peaceful, local area and the hospitality in the area of bars and restaurants was second to none. Short 15 minute walk through the beautiful city to get to St marks Square. We will definitely return to this hotel on our next trip.

We can’t thank Carnival Palace enough for their excellent service and warm hospitality.
We booked a deluxe room the day before and due to availability the hotel upgraded our room as we were celebrating my birthday.
It was a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful and immaculately clean.
Breakfast was fabulous and included a variety of hot entrees as well as delicious cakes and pastries with includes gluten free options. There was even Prosecco and fresh orange juice available as well as delicious cappuccinos.
The district is far enough away the touristy hub but close enough to walk or get the water bus which is right outside. There was some very interesting and good restaurants nearby as well as a supermarket and pharmacy.
It was also convenient as our boat stop back to the mainland and car park was also right outside so no trailing bags through the streets which I’ve experienced before.
We had a great stay and will definitely return and recommend to friends. 🙏

This hotel is just simply beautiful. The rooms are stunning and clean - honestly one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in.
It made such an impression we recommended it for a couples honeymoon and for a second couple coming for a short break.
The location is slightly outside of the centre, but that is what makes the hotel stunning yet also really affordable. Plus, it is only a very short walk to restaurants and then a slightly longer walk to the centre - but it keeps you out of the hustle and bustle and the walk is stunning anyway. The breakfast is amazing too, the first time I’ve ever seen Prosecco out for breakfast and the coffees were delicious.

Nice hotel, looks recently refurbished with good modern rooms. Steps away from the Tre Archi stop. If you're arriving by train from another part of Italy, as we were, exit the Santa Lucia station and take the 5.2 line. If you're planning on taking more than 3 trips, buy the one day pass immediately at the counter because each single trip is 7.5 euros. It is valid for 24 hours. To go to the airport, walk a lesiurely 10 mins to Guglie and take the Allilguna for 16 euros per pax. How convenient can it get? Breakfast here is great and served in a nice room. They will open up the adjoining one if the crowd grows. The staff speak excellent English and are always helpful. I would stay here again!

Perfect stay in a fantastic location - 10 min walk from train station and less than 5 mins walk from the water shuttle stop to/from the airport. We were upgraded 2 room categories up to a canal view room which was a great way to start the day. The staff are so friendly and keen to help and the rooms are so comfy. Breakfast was great and covid-friendly served buffet style. The only niggle I would mention, but not major as we were only there for 2 nights, is that there wasn't much storage for clothes - there's a hanging rail but not much shelving.

Had another nice relaxing break for my wife's birthday, just like last year. Same as last time, room was lovely, and all the staff welcoming and attentive. Katia on reception always very helpful as are all the staff. Breakfast is a good variety of choices and even the fruit juices are pretty exotic, and well above the level that most hotels provide. Location suits us but if you don't want to walk there are 2 water bus stops right outside that will take you anywhere around the main and other islands easily,so make sure to visit Murano and Lido as well. . A 48hour pass is 30euros. We also had great weather, which I know the hotel have no control of, but I'm sure if they had, they would sort it so everyone had sunshine. Have recommended the hotel to friends who are going on their 1st Venice trip for their 40th anniversary in March, and know they will enjoy it as much as we do. Looking forward to our next visit to Venice, and it will be 100 % to the Carnival Palace.

The proximity to the main sights as well as to the Water Bus Stop was perfect. The neighborhood is quieter because it is not too touristy and the location right on the canal is perfect. My family left with a great taste in our mouths.

We travelled by water taxi to the hotel from airport (this is a must).
There are water transport stations right outside (we didn’t use, we walked everywhere)
We loved the location away from the hustle and bustle with quieter restaurants/cafes along the canal it sits on.
It was walkable to everywhere for us but we do like to walk! One day my 9 yr old achieved 32,000 steps.
The hotel is well maintained, modern and clean! Upon arrival the male on reception was extremely polite and welcoming with great English. We did not have breakfast at hotel but it was under 10 euros each had we wanted to. The bar and restaurant attached was also beautiful.
The room was gorgeous we had a double 4 poster and a single with plenty of hanging and wardrobe space for 3, a mini fridge and safe. The bathroom was a dream double sink, large powerful shower and a separate bath with shower also, again modern and super clean.
Maid service every day and soap, gel, cream, shampoo, slippers provided.
The air con was amazing and without doubt prevented mosquitoes having seen how covered some people were in bites. We got a few but never any from the room and my daughter escaped getting any (I put that down to lots of sunscreen!)
All in all I fell in love with Venice and would absolutely return. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again and would definitely recommend.
Thank you for an amazing visit making my big 4-0 extra special

Plenty of good restaurants nearby. I would recommend AGLI ARCHIE' Excellent food and amazing service.
Yes, our room was at the side of the hotel, facing into the courtyard and it was very quiet. It’s a gorgeous hotel, with amazing staff. I highly recommend it.
Or bus and train and walk
Our booking was made with breakfast included. It was buffet style with both cold and hot dishes available. A very good start to the day.
