Location, hospitality and the breakfast are reasons why I'd come back. The rooms are rather small, not much room to move around. That being said it's great value for money and has everything you need. The staff were more than accommodating.

Thank you for your review!
Unfortunately you are right, our bathrooms are not huge, but we are renovating all of them and in all of them we are giving the priority to the shower's size.
Our best regards!
This hotel gives you the feel as if you're travelling as a merchant in the 17th century. The hotel is quite small, as are the rooms and is filled with memorabilia, decorations, paintings and furniture. The staff is elegant and friendly. The hotel is located...More

I stayed at the Hotel Bel Sito in Nov 2016. The hotel location is excellent and even though the water ferry stop closest to the hotel was closed, it was no hassle to walk to the next one, even with luggage. Check in was prompt...More
The convenient room, close arrangement of hotel to all sights and transport. Good Wi-Fi, plentiful and tasty breakfast, personnel at the high level. Fine internal court yard, fantastic atmosphere. It is located near the temple and there is entry into channel.
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.

The Hotel BEL SITO is easy to reach with public boat Linea 1 from the terminals of Piazzale Roma or from Santa Lucia Railway Station, getting off at stop called Santa Maria del Giglio, after Accademia Bridge, or with a private water taxi right to the water entrance, surely more expensive.
We look forward to have the pleasure of welcoming you!
