The location is great, just steps from the train station. Matao was out of this world friendly and super helpful for suggestions of places to eat. This is my second time to stay in this facility, and we loved it for its history.

After our delayed flight to Venice, we took the water taxi from the airport and then walked to Hotel Abbazia; where we were greeted with open arms by a smiling and very helpful staff; our room was ready (and cool) and the staff bent over...More

Wonderful staff—best we've encountered at least—and a comfortable facility with a great location. The breakfasts were first-rate too. We never used the virtually-new bathtub—the shower with a see-thru floor was just the relaxation we needed. And did we mention the staff? Really helpful, kind, and...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)

In all our bathrooms there are hair dryers. We do not have any kettle for tea/coffee in the rooms but is available a service of hot water at the bar in case of need.
