Detailed Reviews
We stayed here for 1 week in September and were very happy with the hotel. The whole property was very clean and the additional covid19 measures in place were excellent. We were given a mask and sanitizer at checkin and all staff wore masks and sanitizer on entry/exit was perfect. Social distance markers in place and reduced number in elevators. We felt very safe and the hotel have done a great job putting these measures in place. When entering the hotel the lobby is very impressive, smells amazing and has beautiful Venetian decor. All staff were very helpful and they even let us have a late checkout as we had an evening flight home. The room itself was a double and fairly small, however it was well equipped with plenty storage and had everything we needed, apart from an iron, which the hotel advised they did not provide due to fire safety issues. We have travelled the world and never encountered a hotel which could not provide an iron. No big issue though, just be aware if you stay here. The location is perfect, easy walk to the train station, piazalle roma for buses and vaporetto stop right outside. Despite this it was gloriously quiet and we never heard a peep during our whole stay and slept extremely well every night. There is a Spar supermarket close to the hotel for essential items and many shops, bars and restaurants all around.
Housekeeping done a fabulous job in cleaning our room every day, providing fresh bedding and towels. Toiletries were provided and there was also a hairdryer,TV,safe,telephone,tea/coffee facilities and a mini bar/fridge which we also used to store our own drinks with no problem.
I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

This hotel has the Perfect location, welcoming you merely 5 mins away from the bus station, right next to a train station and with ferries nearby. We flew from Paris and booked a two way trip with the bus, which picked us up at the airport and left us in the Piazzale Roma. We went up a bridge and then made it to the hotel. This is a historical building and the venetian architecture and decor will make you feel like you’re inside a luxury mansion. There are different elevators that will take you to different places so make sure you get indications from he front desk, we got lost after getting checked in. The room was big, high ceilings, and the bathroom was spacious. The air conditioning worked great considering it was insanely hot outside. There are plenty of eating options nearby and the same for souvenirs; you can explore the Venice landmarks just by walking from this hotel, the Rialto Bridge is about 20min walking, and getting to Piazza San Marcos will take about 30min. All things considered, this is a great option if you arrive by plane/train, we would stay here again

My partner and I recently visited Venice and stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Upon check in the receptionist was very polite and friendly and quickly checked us in informing us, to our delight, that we had been upgraded.
The room we stayed in was stunning with large patio doors openingup to views of the grand canal. The decor looked like it had been plucked from a catalogue of classical venetian decor complete with a Murano glass chandelier. Then to top it off a bottle of prosecco was sent tothe room shortly after check in.
Coming into the hotel each night after being out exploring bustling Venice was like entering an oasis of calm. The hotel reception made for a brilliant impresson each time we arrived back and the cool breeze from the aircon was a welcome relief from the humid heat of Venice with temperature control in the rooms working perfectly.
We also had breakfast at the hotel each morning which while being fairly standard was filling and a lovely way to start off the day. All in all I hope to return to the hotel next time I am visiting Venice.

Stayed here with two rooms for 3 adults at the weekend. Great location and moreover, fantastic friendly staff at reception. Rooms were well sized and super comfy beds. Breakfast was great and staff happy to make you a cappuccino on request and not charge which I appreciate. Highly recommend the lively location which is near the train station (3 mins) if carrying a lot luggage like us from a ski trip. Well done all and will definitely come back - Grazie

Not too far from the train stop at bus station so it’s reasonably easy to get your stuff there less than a half a mile-ish still a couple of bridges across
Location is walking from everything couple of our favorite restaurants or within an 10 to 15 minute walk from the hotel buffet. Breakfast was good nothing special limited hot items.
Definitely on the smaller side it seemed to work. They cleaned them in between the day so that was nice and a nice hot towel rack that we enjoyed perfect for drying laundry

in spite of charging more than € 250, hotel does not provide complimentary tea/coffee or drinking water in the room. also there is no ironing facility in the hotel. The TV in the room is installed in such a manner that it blocks the full length mirror provided in the room.
Disappointing. will find somewhere else to stay during next visit.

Excellent location and service. One minute walk from the train station is important in Venice as otherwise you would have to carry your luggage. Staff is very professional and pleasant. Although rooms are a bit outdated but roomy and comfortable.

We did not plan to spend time in Venice. However after repeated change of plans due to airlines changing our travel itinerary we found a convenient one that also resulted in a transit through Venice. Faced with this we could not say no to spending a couple of days in this famous city.
We spent a lot of time trying to find a hotel, and we were especially concerned that our train would arrive after 21:30. We chose NH mostly due to the location. It took us just few minutes from the time the train stopped until we were at the front desk and the check in was also very fast. The room, was, as requested, in a quiet part and on an upper floor. We did not notice problems with the internet, but granted we did not spend too much time in the room, apart from sleeping. The rooms were large and, while some of the furniture seemed dated, everything was working well and the space looked very clean. You can see the transition from Bellini to NH as some of the toiletries were labeled NH and some were not.
We also had breakfast, and found it quite good.

Let's start with the positives
A great friendly welcome, gave us a map of the city and stored our luggage until check in, communal areas of hotel are well kept.
The room was clean and had nice decor with traditional touches, we were in a smaller double at the back but didn't feel cramped.
Really good location for everything and the quieter end of Venice, I think this is probably the biggest plus for us.
The negatives
Bar was never open as stated in previous reviews and no tea and coffee facilities in rooms this was a major issue for us and we ended up going to the cafe next door a lot very early in the morning for ur coffee fix - not good enough for a 4 star.
We only had breakfast on the last day but this was appalling, the hot option was scrambled egg, pieces of ham, hot dogs or carrots and spinach,
I ended up just having some egg and a little ham as the rest was bizzare, however when I got to my table I realised none of the hot plates had been plugged in so all the food Was stone cold, I ended up having a couple of pieces of bread and a little egg ofter they had heated it back up, the juice also tasted very watered down all in all even if this breakfast was included it wouldn't have even made the 1 star level, as it stands we paid 12.99 obviously nowhere near worth it!
Would we stay again? Maybe however more for the location than the hotel itself.

We chose this hotel given the review, price, and proximity to the train station since we had an early morning train leaving Venice. Can't beat the 3 minute walk to the station! If you arrive by bus, it was about an 8 minute walk, just be aware that the main bridge by the buses to cross the canal has steps the whole way over if you have heavy luggage. There is also a water bus and water taxi stop close by the hotel so those are options as well. Plenty of restaurants nearby! The hotel is a bit dated, but was more then suitable to our needs. It was clean, very tiny (normal in Venice), and I would have to say that the hotel would be more of a 3 or 3.5 star rating in the States. We booked a Superior room with 1 Queen bed, and were put in room 420. Check in was quick, and we had a side/front view of the next door church and the main canal. There was a bottle of champagne presented our first night given our Hotels.com status. There was a bar and restaurant on the main floor, however we never ate at the hotel nor saw any patrons at the bar. There was a Mini bar in the room with a selection of items that were not free, nor did we try. The room was tight, but clean. The bathroom was also tiny, with a tub/shower (European style), toilet and bidet. Our biggest complaint was that the room was very warm (we visited during cooler weather), and we couldn't get the AC to work (it seemed to be blocked), so we just shut it off and opened the 2 windows which cooled the room down quickly.
