This is near S Marco, with easy access from the vaporetto. If you get off at San Marco Giardinetti then it is across Piazzia San Marco. If you get off at San Marco Vallaresso then it is along C Vallaresso, turn onto C larga dell'Ascensione...More
Very enjoyable stay at this quaint little hotel. Our room was out the back and upstairs but very clean, warm and comfortable. Bathroom was small but room enough. Friendly staff and breakfast was very adequate. Very close to Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. A...More
This quaint small hotel was perfect for our trip to Venice. Room & bathroom were small but were spotlessly clean and contained all we needed. Our bedroom had character with its painted, floral cupboards & wardrobe. Breakfast was basic continental but all that we required....More
Very good location near san Marco
However we were very disapointed by the size of the room : only the surface to have 4 beds : not smart at all
The breakfast was ok despite the very corridor where it was located
Very small rooms... You feel like you are blocked by 4 side walls... There were Mosquitos in room... The breakfast place is very very small it is very conjugated & less variety in breakfast.. Overall below my expectation.... & not value for money you spend...More
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and
Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
