We stayed in August 2012 and had 2 rooms on 4th floor. Both were very comfortable, spotlessly clean abnd quiet. We only used the restaurant for breakfast - food was fine - nothing special.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel is cramped and the rooms are small. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Don't expect too much because more of the hotels in Venice are small and cramped.
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and

From the hotel, it takes like 30minutes so you need to be 2hours before your flight. Like 3am maybe. You need to reserve one, the concierge will help you about this.
Have a nice trip.
