We stayed 2 nights as part of an Abercrombie & Kent tour. The location and hotel are fantastic. Unfortunately, we had a small room on the side of the hotel next to a "calle" where they brought the rubbage for collection to boats at the end of the street beginning at 4:00 a.m. We were on the 3rd floor, and...

We stayed 4 nights in a Suite with a wonderful view over the Grand Canal. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated in Murano glass chandeliers and mirrors. We arrived by water taxi which is the best way to travel on the canal. The Hotel also offers a complimentary private water taxi service to Murano Island with a private glassblowing...

A bit pricey but you are in the heart of San Marco on the Grand Canal. Their outside dining has a spectacular view with plenty of gondolas for that Venice feel. The room is what we expected; but we really didn't spend much time in it. The hotel is kept very clean and the staff are friendly. We didn't find...

We stayed one night as part of a group celebrating a birthday. The hotel is in a wonderful location, arrived by water taxi to be met by concierge staff to assist with our luggage. Lunch and breakfast was taken on the terrace, both times staff were polite and efficient ant the quality if food was outstanding. The room was clean...

We did a last minute booking, so did not expect the best room. For $410 we got a small room with a window overlooking the other side of the street about 15 feet away. The bathroom door had to be forced closed, the shower door knob was loose. Furniture OK, a bit scuffed. The public space was very nice. We...

We were fortunate to have the perfect wedding day on June 7th thanks to the Hotel Monaco. (I cannot sing the praises of this hotel enough. It is a pity Tripadvisors don’t allow 10 stars!) Their professionalism, facilities, unbeatable location and infallible service all contributed to it being the best day of our lives. In particular, the Hotel’s Events Co-ordinator,...

Just off St. Marks it is well located in there heart of the action in Venice. We enjoyed the hotel's facilities and wonderful architecture. Our room was magnificent. Also wondered at the flood defences!

The hotel is old but well maintained. We were very happy with our stay. The location was great and the staff were nice. The food, especially the pasta, was awesome! We had a great time in Venice and loved the sights!

I stayed at this hotel before. I knew what I was getting regarding location, physical plant, and food. The location is tremendous, right next to St. Mark's Square. The hotel is old, considering the newest building in Venice is 500 years old. It is well-maintained, though. What I wasn't expecting was the rude and duplicitous behavior of the concierge service....

Just come back from 3 nights in Venice and ate at the hotel restaurant twice-the setting is stunning, but the food- possibly the best pasta I have evertasted- along with the wonderfully attentive service and atmosphere, this was an absolute treat/can't wait to return-special praise to Lorenzo who really looked after us
