Just back from a lovely few days in Venice staying in a studio apartment at Ca Felice. Perfect for what we needed. Plenty of room for 2, clean, modern and a great central location. Hugo was great, arranging to meet us from the boat from the airport and taking us to the apartment with plenty of tips and advice on...

Stayed here in July and the location of the apartment is fantastic, just a few minutes walk from both Rialto and St Marks. The host will greet you at Rialto and take you to the apartment and tell you everything you need to know. He's readily available on Whatsapp. The apartment itself was fine and comfortable. There was a small...

An amazing Venetian ambiance, extremely quite with lovely garden. Owners also living next door for any requests or questions. Ten minutes to train station, fifteen to Rialto. Definitely best apartment for a couple.

I am Faculty Director of three study abroad programs (France, Italy, & Spain). I take large groups throughout Europe on an annual basis. I recommend Ca Felice without reservation. I have stayed in these apartments since 2010. Location: Superb. This residence is close to the Rialto bridge and short walk from Piazza San Marco. A short walk from Rialto Vaparetto...

Very convenient and cozy apartment very close to Realto Bridge. Very central but very quiet. At the nearby street everything necessary - supermarket, food shop, bakery, some non expensive restaurants. Nice and helpful host. When next time in Venice-will definitely stay in this place!

Super nice apartment, fit 8 people easily. Hot water in the shower, pots and pans and everything in the kitchen. Andrea was super helpful and nice. The location was good, Piazza San Marco was just a 5-10 minute walk away. Great weekend!

After being many times in Venice I decide to take my family (6 adults) and I booked the (Cappuccino) apartment for 3 nights. Mr Hugo promptly contact me with all the details to make our stay easier. You cannot ask for a better location, just minutes walking from the rialto bridge, supermarket and many, many restaurants. The apartment itself was...

We stayed in app. Espresso for five nights. It was really comfortable, clean, well kept and very centrally located. We had a great stay and I would recommend it very much. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that for me it was too noisy, not in the small street itself, but in the adjoining streets,...

Staying in Castello

Neighbourhood Profile
Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri (districts), and the only one not facing onto the Grand Canal. More than half of Castello is situated within Arsenale, the naval base, which occupies over one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime neighbourhood feels busy but casual. Castello’s side streets are laid back, with small boats lining canals criss-crossed by laundry. Semiannual exhibitions add a strong artsy current to the Arsenale area. Via Garibaldi in Castello, with its shops and bars, has one of Venice's rare straight and wide boulevards. When a large ship turns around the Lido to enter the Giudecca Canal, the startling sight creates an illusion that it will run aground right on Via Garibaldi! Families treasure Giardini near the island's tip, green with rare trees and grass, and Riva degli Schiavoni is a popular spot for Venetians to take a stroll to watch the sunset.
