This place is in a great location 2 minute walk to the Rialto bridge. The rooms were very clean and didn't smell. Host is very friendly. They have rooms cleaned everyday, free Italian breakfast with cappuccino's yummy! And free wifi which was fast.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in B&B Abitare Rialto. It is conveniently located ( in Venice it is very important!) and easy to find.Hosts are very friendly and nice always glad to help. The place is clean and bed is comfortable. I definitely recommend this B&B for your stay in Venice.

Recommended by German friends and we were not let down for our 7 night stay. We were warned in advance of the stairs and the sloping ceiling so no real concerns. The bed was a bit hard for my liking and the pillows too but the room was quiet, clean, had wifi, a fridge with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco,...

This place was in a really good, central location. We walked everywhere from here, didnt need the vaporetto at all except to the train station. The room was large and clean. The only negative was you really felt like you were in a hotel, rather than a b&b. The welcome is more of a "here's your room, bye" sort than...

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Venice is beautiful, really beautiful. It is also quite crowded with tourists but I would recommend visiting. Cristina was very helpful and very kind, I echo that she respected your privacy and she does a very good job. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable although as mentioned...

Had a good experience staying here. The instructions for finding the B&B were spot on, we had no trouble whatsoever. The location is perfect, right next to Rialto market and all of the best places for ciccheti, such as All Arco, Cantina Do Mori, Al Merca, etc. Piazza San Marco is an 11 minute walk, as is Gallerie dell'Accademia. There...

Nice and clean place, right in the center of the town. Easy to reach from the railway station, though not easy to locate when you arrive. Close to many restaurants and from the major landmarks of the city. Once you leave your luggage you will only need public transportation to go to the islands or to appreciatte the Great Canal....

This property was recommended by a local and it was suburb. Small and no windows but had 2 roof sky lights to open and gave adequate light and feel. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Enough room though for a couple with a little table where they brought your modest but adequate French style breakfast. The bathroom was modn...

We arrive in Venice under the rain, and we have to cross the Rialto Bridge with all the luggage so we were quite tired and stressed, we found the place very easy and the warm welcome was very appreciated. The rooms are spotless and warm. They recommend a restaurant in the area that was really good and the breakfast was...

It is so easy to get lost in Venice. That's where the location of the hotel comes in helpful! All you have to do is follow the signs to the Rialto Bridge, then the hotel is immediately accessible. There is graffiti along the path to the hotel, but we soon learnt that does not say anything about the safety of...

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
