Stayed here for 2 weeks and have to say while the hotel is very nice, the staff makes it amazing!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, but I do have to say mattia, Carmen and Mirsada made it even better especially when I didn’t think it was possible. The only hotel I will ever stay in when I’m visiting Venice
My husband and I visited NH Venezio Rio Nova for our anniversary in May, 2019 and the service was superb even though we only stayed there for two nights. My husband's birthday was on 19th March and I requested management to make a simple poster wishing my husband a happy birthday which I could then insert in a video I was in the process I was making. They not only co-operated (unlike other hotels) but went over and beyond their roles and wished him a happy birthday. This is a perfect demonstration of excellent customer care despite our having visited almost 2 years ago. We will definitely visit again.
Really nice sleeping quarters with a nice shower and fresh towels. Our room had a safe, two drawers and ability to hang clothes. I also had a small fridge and soft drinks snd chips for a charge. We had a huge window to look of and we had a view of one of the canals in Venice. Breakfast is served for an additional fee which included daily: fruit, sliced salami, sliced ham and other sliced meats to include other sliced meats and sliced cheese. There was also several types of coffee, to include americano for us Americans. Plenty of breads and pastries and different types of tea. Great place, breakfast is served from 7:00-10:00am everyday.
Great hotel if your looking for a modern place to stay in the city. Be careful as the gym is small but if that's not what your after then rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms modern and clean and staff always happy to help. Book in advance for good prices.
Had a 1 night stay with my husband. Check in staff was very welcoming and helpful, booked a restaurant for my husbands birthday as I was struggling to book it myself. All staff around the hotel were very polite. Location excellent, 20 minutes into st Marco centre. Lots of lovely restaurants near by. Bus station 5/10mins walk depending if you have luggage. Easy access to the airport. The room was clean and modern, but on the small side, lovely view of the canal. You have to ask for an iron which wasn’t a problem but I can imagine the long wait for an iron when the hotel is busy. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. Staff were always asking you if you need top up of hot drinks, which was nice. If your looking for a modern, friendly and well located hotel, this is the place.
Modern and efficient hotel. We like the bathroom and nice shower. There is no bathtubs. The room had big windows and lots of lights. It is near the university so it is quieter than the central part of Venice. It is about 20 minutes walk to Rialto Bridge except we got lost a few times.
The rooms aren’t huge but big enough. Pleasantly decorated and have everything you need. Coffee & tea machine included. Decent hair dryer in the bathroom (I have long hair too!). The shower was very powerful and lovely after a long day walking. The reception staff were very attentive and helpful as were the breakfast room staff. Breakfast was ok.. that’s my personal opinion it’s very continental lots of meats, cheese & bread my only criticism but again that a personal opinion. The hotel is about 25mins walk from San Marco but it’s a pleasant walk and lots of lovely cafes and bars en route. Get lovely at Dolce Vita & Cafe Noir at night which are both a 5 mins walk away.
hotel is very comfortable, very wel located near busstation, out of the busy tourist i area but still on walking distance from everything! Breakfast was Amazing and hotel is very clean. I would definitely book this again.
The positive aspects: modern hotel, very well maintained, in an enviable location 8 minutes walk from the train and waterbus station. The rooms are not huge but very well organized, the beds really comfortable and the bathroom comfortable. The negative aspects: very poor service and very unprepared staff. We waited an enormous amount of time to check in because of a conference; as in all hotels in the world they should be treated separately. The TV in the room did not work: it took 2 days and two phone calls to the reception to solve the problem. We needed an umbrella and there were none available. All these shortcomings are unacceptable for a 4 star hotel.
We enjoyed our stay here at NH. What made it the best was having great craft cocktails at the bar made by Fernando. Amazing drinks made by a great bartender! Rooms were very nice. Check in was easy. Great proximity to the train station is great. Walking distance to everything in Venice. Would stay here again.
