Super comfy beds & pillows- perfect for jet lagged travelers. Location in the heart of Venice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived well before our check in time but the room was ready so they let us in early. What a life saver after a 9 hour flight!

Hotel's Favourite
Rosa Salva was a lovely, small and well presented hotel in a fantastic location (1 minute walk from St Mark’s Square). They have a 24 hour concierge and this was particularly useful when we arrived quite late on our first evening. The hotel staff were all extremely polite and very helpful (directions, recommendations of places to eat, advice on routes to take etc) which made everything very easy when we were there. The Rosa Salva patisserie is obviously next door and sells delicious cakes and coffee (you also get a percentage discount for the duration of your stay which was a nice touch) - this was a great start to the day on a few occasions! The hotel also held on to our bags all day after we’d checked out and had a late flight home which was very useful. The only thing that was disappointing was the fact that there was no iron (either per room or communal) which I think should be a basic to at least have access to. Overall I would definitely go back to stay at Rosa Salva and would highly recommend it.

My wife and I enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The hotel is fairly close the Piazza San Marco which in itself is a blessing. An easy way to reach it from the airport is to take a waterbus (or water taxi) and disembark at San Marco. From there it's about an 8-10 minute walk through the square. Walk through the passageway with the astronomical clock and you'll turn left at the glass blowing place. You'll cross a small bridge with a lovely view and then reach the hotel shortly afterward. Service at the hotel was good. The staff spoke decent English and could answer questions about the area. Before the trip they answered my emails and provided logistical advice which was nice. The hotel grounds itself was nothing special really. It was basic and modern, but clean. The AC blew cold air which was much appreciated as temperatures hovered in the mid 80s while we were there. The beds were very comfortable along with the pillows. It was easy to sleep as there was zero noise near the property or in the hotel itself. We rarely bumped into other guests. The shower put out very hot water in the morning which was great with adequate water pressure. The toilet worked fine but one of the buttons didn't work. Our fridge was stocked with free drinks which was very much appreciated. The in room coffee was a nice touch too. Breakfast wasn't included in our rate or it wasn't offered so can't comment on that. You did receive a small discount at the bakery downstairs which was quite good however. During our stay there was a foul smell we couldn't locate. We didn't know if it was coming from outside or inside the hotel somewhere. Turning on the coffee maker fixed it though. No problems with the wifi which was always reliable. My adapter didn't fit the holes properly (they were too fat) so the gentleman at the front desk let me borrow one without hesitation. This was a single example of fine customer service. For the most part it was a clean and comfortable stay. Not too far away from the main attractions but not too close either. We would probably stay again!

We were very pleased with our stay. We stayed in the annex behind the main hotel and it was beautifully updated and renovated. The shower was fantastic, two shower heads, great water pressure, and Bluetooth speakers inside the shower! Loved those details. The room was clean, modern, with attention to detail. I appreciated that waters in the mini fridge were included. A little pastry was also included when we first arrived which was another nice detail. The bed was comfortable. The other nice detail is that staying here gives you 15% off at their cafe below which has excellent coffee and pastries. The location is EXCELLENT. Walking distance to all major areas but it is on a quieter side street which makes it great. My only critique is I wish they would have provided conditioner and not just shampoo. Loved our stay and will return!

We originally were scheduled to stay in 2020 but because of COVID we were not able to. The hotel gave us a voucher and allowed us to redeem it without any problems. While staying there, the staff bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel is clean, comfortable, updated, and located close to St Mark's square. It's also attached to the best tasting pastry shop in Venice. Great place for breakfast.
