Just stayed in this B&B. Location is amazing and cannaregio is great place to stay in Venice. Far from too many tourist and within 15-20 minutes walk(Nice walk) to San Marco Square and same distance to main Train and Bus station. No complain about room size. I have to say that pillows where not the best as the shower power....

My partner and I stayed here 3 nights for a long weekend trip to Venice. Following good reviews I chose to book this lovely little B&B and I am so pleased I did. Although a little tricky to find at first - once you get your head around the property numbers/street names it was fine. Slightly off a bustling street...

Arnulfo and his family are lovely and friendly and are really trying their best. The rooms are modern and the bathroom spotlessly clean and looked to have been recently installed/modernised. Very enjoyable stay.

Can't fault this amazing place! The location is great in a quiet alley but just seconds from a busy street with numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The room we had was large and so clean and the owners are really helpful and friendly. 100% recommended!

We were delighted to find an affordable room near the Grand Canal. It was an easy couple minute walk from the Vaporetto stop to the Inn. It was nice and quiet, nestled in amongst local residences. The owner was very friendly and helpful, offering restaurant advice, etc. Our room was very clean with pretty decor and we had a nice...

What a gem of a B&B! The hosts value hospitality, and were welcoming and helpful. There are stairs, but the host (Arnulfo) will assist. The location is a bit tricky to find, but follow their directions and you will find the B&B down a quiet passageway in Cannaregio. There are restaurants (that locals use) and shops nearby without too many...

We booked a pre-cruise night with Arnulfo and Valentina. They were very responsive with answers to all of my questions. No deposit was required with the reservation. I wish everyone did business that way and didn't have to worry about people taking advantage of the trust. We were scheduled to arrive around 4 - 5pm. There were issues with our...

Highly recommend! Great location (a little hard to find the first time) near lots of shops, restaurants, and walking to many things to see. Arnulfo was a wonderful source of information about things to see, where to eat, and the history of the area. Our room was lovely, and breakfast full of fresh fruit and a nice variety of other...

This inn was such a pleasant place to stay. It's on a side street but very close to shops, restaurants and the aquabus. Arnulfo, the owner, makes the experience very comfortable. He has a sense of humour, introducing each of his daughters as "This is my pretty daughter". The family runs the B+B and he bends over backwards to help...

Staying in Cannaregio

Neighbourhood Profile
Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district) with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution, 2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby shops on the Lista di Spagna offer specialties like pastries and coffee that lure Venetians with a down-to-earth attitude. The Ghetto, where the Jewish population was segregated in Cannaregio, has five historic synagogues with an active Jewish community. The Fondamente Nove bustles with foot traffic to the Rialto and San Marco while vaporettos (water taxis) head to Murano and other islands. Side streets lead into quiet picturesque neighbourhoods and palaces like Ca' d'Oro rise directly out of the water.
