I stayed for one night in a mixed dorm with three beds. The location is perfect and the staff was nice. Bed linens and a small towel is included in the price. The room and the bathrooms were clean. However, there was very low water...More
Close to the bus and train station. Nice old building, but it could do with some repairs. We had loose and missing tiles on our floor. Beds were not comfortable. Staff said would only change towels out once = and we were staying 3 days!
This is a nice hostel close to railway station S. Lucia. I had a single room for an agreeable price. The building has thick walls, so it's not hot in summer. No conditioner in the room, no need. The building was a catholic school hostel...More

Italy > Veneto > Province of Venice > City of Venice > Venice > San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San
Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
