The hotel is so nicely placed in the center of commercial and pedestrian street. You have to park near the entrance of Breuil but it is super accessible then by feet and staff can help you. Room are modern with a touch of traditional, perhaps renewed recently? It is clean as hell and very cozy. We had a room next to the river so we had the nice lullaby of the water to put us to sleep, really zen. Breakfast and diner are great and staff definitively lovely, all of them! If I have the chance to come back, I’ll try again this hotel!

Fantastic hotel. Beautifully presented rooms with balconies.
The staff went to great lengths to accommodate our needs of having one guest with Coeliac Disease requiring a very strict gluten free diet to the exclusion of any chance of cross-contamination within the kitchen, together with a fellow guest who was Vegan and who also has a peanut allergy.
Full marks to the catering staff who managed to achieve this with aplomb and the waiting staff also who were able to explain how our requirements had been accommodated and explain each meal when served at the table.
Very helpful front-of-house staff with excellent spoken English and for who nothing was too much trouble.
Italy is so very good for those with Coeliac Disease, but this hotel went above and beyond expectations!

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Hotel Marmore. The room was immaculate, the food was delicious but the fantastic attentive staff and impeccable service were what made the hotel so wonderful.
Location wise 50 metres from the base of the slope made it very accessible as a family.
I am coeliac and the staff had excellent gluten free awareness. The set menu each night was adjusted to provide me with an equivalent gluten free option which was wonderful!! Thank you to all at Marmore for a fabulous stay.

During the summer months rooms on the upper floors get unbearably hot. Opening the window does not help, as the evening sun warms the outside air. During the night you can keep the window open, if you can sleep with the very noisy river rushing by. Otherwise the hotel is great, so it's a pity that owners won't install air conditioning.

Hotel Marmore was at a great location, close to the restaurants/shops and a short walk to the parking lot and ski lift. The inside of the hotel was cozy and our room was clean and updated. The included breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL! You had a huge selection from fresh delicious waffles to soft and hard-boiled eggs to pies and pastries to fruits. Every server was friendly and attentive to all guests. Although we opted to not have dinner included in our stay, we tried it one night and it was delicious. We had gone out to check out other restaurants but ended up going back to our hotel instead. We were looking for a meal with fish and vegetable options. The preset menu at Hotel Marmore had exactly what we were looking for (fish and vegetables). Although there may be hotels closer to the ski lift (open in November), we highly recommend this hotel and will be coming back in the future!!!

The very cosy and stylish hotel in the best situation in the middle of the village.
The whole atmosphere was perfect.

Our clean room with a balcony (5th floor) had a marvellous view to the mighty Matterhorn.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (especially Zara).

Food (half board) was tasty.

The free Wi-Fi worked well.

The only minus and surprise was that no international/no sport channels on TV at all.

The lift is near and you can ski down almost to the hotel door.

In January there are plenty of pleasant sunny wide slopes without any overcrowding and the Alps are always so breathtaking!

Remember to visit (with a passport) Switzerland and the highest lift station in the world: Klein Matterhorn (3883 m).

Experience the Matterhorn glacier paradice and the beautiful ski route from there down to Valtournenche (20 km).

Highly recommended the Hotel Marmore and Cervinia!

We enjoyed our stay at Marmore - friendly and service minded staff. Cozy bar just as you come in. Rooms had comfy beds and nice bathrooms. There are some problems with noise from the corridor. Very slow internet connection - modern WIFI ok with decent coverage, so should be easily fixable by upgrading the internet connection.
Excellent breakfast buffet, but dinner a bit of russian roulette - with a mix of unsavoury or bland dishes mixed with the occasional edible dish. Friendly and hard working but somewhat confused restaurant staff - very likable though as they tried their best.

Dear Mr Henrik, Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review, we appreciate all comments from our guests and take constructive criticism very seriously. We appreciate your positive comments about our staff, our bar, the beds and bathrooms. We are sorry that you did not have a good experience in our restaurant. Marmore is an STS owned hotel in the middle of the village, completely renovated in 2016–2017. Being STS owned, most or at least a large fraction of the guests are Scandinavians. The breakfast reflects this: bacon & eggs, porridge, breads, cutleries, cereals, fruits, juices, filtered coffee, but also e.g. waffles and cappuccino, on request.

During our stay, the staff was very friendly and professional. The room was spotlessly clean every day, the waiters very friendly, and the hotel even arranged a temporary fix to our broken suitcase free of charge, etc. Splendid!

At least for STS guests, there is a half boarding option. We didn't have it, but still had the dinner for one night. The food was good, but we were able to get better (but also worse) dinners elsewhere in the village. If you want good value for your money, eat four courses every night, and don't want to fuss about where to eat, half boarding is probably a very good option for you.

If I really try to find something not so positive, our quadruple room was on the smaller side. It was big enough for us, two adults and a 12 years old, but for two adults and two teens the room would have been uncomfortably small. The storage space in the room was also somewhat inconvenient, and e.g. one IKEA-style dresser almost tipped, due to bad design. On the other hand, the bathroom was spacey and the shower excellent.

The views from the rooms can vary a lot. Some rooms seem to have excellent views, while others facing just to the next hotel. We had a small slice of Matternhorn from our room, but also a construction site on the opposite side of the street.

Anyway, overall, one of our best hotel stays ever.
