If you are looking for a great hotel in Cervinia, pick this one!
It is located on a trail run so is ski in&out, and has amazing views of the surrounding mountains including the infamous Matterhorn/Cervinia.
You can't beat having a tasty included breakfast whilst looking up at snowy peaks and glaciers. Beds are comfy, modern bathrooms, rooms are spacious, warm and quiet and the hosts go out of there way to ensure your needs are met. They are super friendly and hospitable.
The hotel is a short 5 min walk from town or you can use the free hotel shuttle to get there and back. Means you are away from the noise of the pubs, clubs and traffic.
There is also a bar at Meuble Furggen and some restaurants nearby too.
The Cervinia & Zermatt ski area is humongous and this is a great base to locate yourself at. I fully recommend this hotel and thank them for a fantastic stay!

This is a truly one of the loveliest hotels we have ever stayed in on a ski trip and we've been skiing a lot! The family who run it are amazing. So incredibly helpful and polite, they all spoke amazing English, to put us to shame. There was nothing they wouldn't do for us. They made phone calls to book ski school for the whole party at different times and days, booked restaurants, organised all our ski passes and much more. Whenever you needed someone in the hotel, not matter what time of day or night, they would miraculously appear out of nowhere! But the true icing on the cake is the free shuttle bus down to the town for our restaurant visits, and a quick phone call when we were finished and voila! There is was, all warm and cosy with a happy lovely driver to take us back to the hotel. Couldn't recommend it enough. AND how spotlessly clean it was too, rooms thoroughly cleaned every day, superb hot power shower. Ski in and out, lovely warm boot room, great varied breakfast with homemade cakes and beautiful pastries. And when you really haven't got the energy to go into town, they do a mean lasagne. If you don't book this hotel, you are crazy!

I stayed recently in this small family run hotel whilst skiing in Cervinia. The hotel is well run and extremely friendly. The staff are very helpful and speak very good English. Breakfasts are very good - plenty of cereals, breads and drinks. The rooms are clean and functional. Ski store is in the basement and excellent. One can ski out and into the hotel which is most convenient. A courtesy mini-bus is available at convenient times to get you down to the village centre. It's about a 15 minute walk anyway. I would highly recommend this nice hotel. They don't do evening meals but can do snacks - soup, mini pizzas, pasta , cake etc. Great experience...!

The Furggen hotel is located on the slope with full Ski In, Ski out access. Service is wonderful and warm and ski room is well equipped and comfortable. Rooms are small and two guests will be a bit tight. Overall enjoyed my stay a lot.

The January 2020 ski trip was my second trip to Cervinia & the Matterhorn Mountain. I fell in love the first time I visited in February 2018 and new that I was going to return soon.

My friends and I were looking for a ski in ski out hotel and we found a gem in Meuble Furggen. The hotel is placed right off the red run 3.00 and 1 minute skiing down to the chair lift. The fact that you can purchase the ski lift tickets at the Front Desk and not wait in line at the chair lift, have your heated ski & boots locker is priceless and truly adds perks to the ski in ski out concept.

Claire and her family at the hotel and front desk is doing an outstanding job welcoming the guests, educating them about the village & mountain and offering additional services and support. The guy’s team that run the shuttle service to the village and pick up from the village - Cristofor, Adam and Federico were amazing and accommodating with the guests needs. They also rotate as bartenders, assist with breakfast service and even cleaned all cars in the parking area after 1/2 meters of snow was dumped in two days without us asking for help. hotel rooms are clean & well maintained by the housekeeping team. As an hotelier myself that attention to details, passion and going beyond guest expectations is the difference between a nice hotel stay and a true experience that stays with you forever. We loved our stay and definitely going to return soon!

Good luck, be safe on the mountain and have lots of fun! Cheers

Just got back from a week stay here and it was fantastic. Although we had a room with no balcony & on the road it wasn’t the hotel staff fault & took a card for next time we book to go direct with them.
We stayed in room 5, was cozy and had plenty of storage for us, the bathroom was a good size shower was snug but functional, also had a hairdryer on the wall which was perfect for me.
The bar & restaurant was fab, fire by the bar with comfy seats & tv showing various sports and extreme sports whilst chilling.
They do food Tue-Sunday pizzas, pastas, salad, charcuterie as well as sandwiches/toasties which we weren’t expecting so we ate at the hotel most evenings instead of going to town food we had was excellent.
Breakfast 7.30-10am perfect timings but note that people are already queuing for breakfast by 7.15am and there isn’t enough seating for everyone all at once so bare that in mind.
Decent coffee machine with hot water option & hot chocolate, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and bacon available, toast, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, yoghurt, muesli, cereals plenty of food for breakfast.
On our check out day we were leaving before breakfast and the hotel gave us a breakfast pack to take on our transfer which was a lovely touch.
Dog friendly hotel and the hotel dog Barney is absolutely gorgeous and couldn’t resist a belly rub anytime I saw him and made the place feel even more homely,
All the staff were excellent morning, noon and night that couldn’t do more for you and the taxi service they offer for free 4pm-11pm is great and picks you up within 10mins of calling.
The ski out was great although not ideal for beginners as it’s a red to get down from the mountain and a steep red down to the 6 man & smaller 4 man chair lifts but was great to have the choice and used it every day to ski in and out.
Our clean was cleaned daily, fresh towels most days and usually all done whilst having breakfast.
Ski room was good and clean with heated boot & helmet rack in your room locker and a short walk to the ski out.
Gorgeous views of the mountains and town.
Would highly recommend and would 100% go back again.

I came here for a last minute skiing holiday with my teenage . We arrived in the middle of the night due to late flight and were greeted by warm smiles and a friendly welcome. The location is superb - ski in ski out with heated ski lockers. A delicious breakfast with a fantastic view set us up for the day! A 10 minute walk into Cervinia for dinner was easy and then we simply phone to get picked up to transfer back to the hotel. Cannot rate this charming hotel and its staff enough and would definitely stay again!

Had a lovely break here with husband and 2 x teenage daughters. The hotel is spotless and the staff are super-helpful. The mini bus service from 4pm was very helpful for getting down and up the village but you can also ski to the door of the hotel. The bar is very cozy and breakfast room has the best view of the mountains. Would like to go back.

A super, family run hotel. Every staff member was outstandingly helpful and friendly. Our double bedroom with balcony was very comfortable and cleaned daily. The ski in/ski out is a real bonus. Don't be put off by the walk to the town centre, it's only 15mins or the hotel provide a free shuttle service. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Cervinia, we can't praise it highly enough personally.

This was our first time skiing in Italy, we used to stay in catered chalets in France pre covid and weren't sure how we would like a hotel rather than a chalet so I researched small hotels in Cervinia and came across the Furggen. We weren't disappointed. The service was great, from the check in to the check out.  Our room was spacious and there is a lift that serves all floors - ideal for aching legs. Plenty of choice for breakfast and also snacks available at the bar in the afternoons and evenings. The mini bus to and from town was really handy, as it started from 4pm you could ski in to the town at the end of the day and get the mini bus back. You just give them a call from by the church  and they send the minibus down.
The room Maids were lovely too. Hubby hurt his leg whilst skiing and the hotel had an ice bag that he could use ehen he wabted which was really helpful.
The locker room with heated lockers were fab, they dried and heated boots and helmets and also had room for skis and boards and each room had their own lockable locker which was really handy.
I'm not sure which run people talk about when they say that they skied from the hotel but we found it much easier to walk a few minutes up the piste to join the end of another piste than ski down from the hotel which was quite a steep slope (there may be a different slip at other times that people have referred to as being an easy slope?).
As our flight left early we were given a breakfast bag by the hotel the evening before which was lovely and thoughtful.
Really enjoyed our time at the Furggen, it may have been our first but certainly won't be our last, we are already looking in to returning next year.
If you want a personal hotel where you are not just a number and the service is given with a genuine smile then I definitely recommend The Furggen. My only complaint is they didn't let me bring Bonnie the beautiful dog home!

Coffee is really good and lots of options! No porridge, but there is a selection of cereal including musli. The staff are accommodating, I'm sure they would facilitate if you were to bring your own.
