Bolzano is a relatively small, so it is hard to be located "far from the center", but this place is just about perfect: 5 min walk from the train station, 3 min walk from the cable car that will take you up for hiking or skiing (depending on time of the year), 5 min from what they call "center" with...

A lovely garden and pool, comfortable beds, a nice breakfast, and overall nice facilities were marred by a few less than friendly staff and a broken elevator. Three of us got in the elevator without luggage, went nowhere, and had difficulty prying the doors open. The alarm we rang went unanswered. Finally we pried the doors open, to find the...

Arrived here to begin a cycling tour and what a lovely surprise. A Tyrolean town in Italy! Service was excellent and room very suitable for an overnight stay. Very good breakfast available the next morning, especially for anyone off into the hills walking, cycling etc.

Newly renovated with nice rooms and a beautiful garden. We got a room with a garden view. Had a really nice dinner in the hotel restaurant in the evening. Recommend dining in the garden! Generous breakfast. The only part that didn't quite function properly was the wifi. It worked ok on the ground level but not on the second floor,...

Great location, great service, top quality hotel, lovely garden restaurant, outdoor pool, views of mountains, awesome buffet breakfast. I was there for my first night of a bike tour, they had great facilities, bike storage, luggage storage, lots of information for local attractions.

Free outside parking or covered parking with a charge available just opposite the hotel. Old façade but with modern interior. Rooms are comfortably furnished, with AC, mini bar, ample space, generous bathroom and free...

Hotel Stiegl Scala is in a beautiful old building that is completely renovated inside and quite modern. Room is huge as is bathroom with full tub. Lots of space to spread out, free wi-fi, TV with several English channels, mini-fridge, lift, AC, pool, garden. Parking is in an enclosed lot/yard behind the hotel and is free. Apparently there is also...

twowheeltours stayed here during the Haute Route Dolomites 2016 tour. The hotel is a little piece of paradise in a very busy city. It is a little difficult to find, use a Garmin/TomTom but they have off street parking, a great restaurant and comfortable A/C rooms. If we were to pass through Bolzano we would stay there again.

We stayed here 2 nights on a cycling trip and found the rooms to be a good size, nice bathrooms and very good variety at breakfast. Pool and garden area is very peaceful, and a 5 minute walk from the cable car. We did find it however somewhat confusing in the streets of Bolzano's old town to find it. It...

We stayed here for two nights at the start of a week's walking holiday with Inn Travel. Following some of the reviews I wAs slightly anxious about staying but it exceeded our expectations. I agree that the common areas are a bit uninspiring but we had a newly renovated family room with balcony which I could not fault. The gardens...
