My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 60 days. The staff were very friendly, helpful and personable. Our room was suite 1 and it was spacious and comfortable. The only issue with the kitchenette was the stovetop was not hooked up, so the staff sent up a microwave. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the... More

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. first of all, it is a lovely venue, and the receptionist who checked us in was lovely and very very helpful. However, it does need to be refurbished - it looks a bit stiff, and the opulence you see straight away when you walk in, if checked out a bit more attentively, looks... More

Boutique hotel, well suited to the architecture of Milan. Lovely kind and helpful staff. Upgraded to junior suite on arrival which was a bonus! Good breakfast- ranges of cold meats/cheese/croissants/pastries/tarts/cereals etc. Only thing was a lack of natural light (shutters in the bedroom didn't open) which made it difficult to wake up especially with such a comfy bed!

We flew into Milan from Houston with our 2 tween sons and were falling down tired, the hotel was a warm welcome, and incredibly well staffed. We had the best nights sleep of the 9 nights in Italy. Loved the quiet location and wonderful staff. We stayed in the 2 bedroom garden apt and highly recommend it.

Exquisitely beautiful hotel! Lovely rooms that even had a little kitchenette. The room was big, even by non European standards. The staff was super friendly and we really enjoyed our stay! The breakfast was okay and for only 12 euros, totally reasonable. Good location about 3 blocks from the cannals.

We spent a night in a 200 euro suite. The hotel is located at the crossroad with heavy traffic day and night. The room was relatively small and narrow as the hotel itself. As you don't open the windows to the noisy street and you get breakfast in the cellar you'll never see daylight in this hotel. When we had... More

We found this through a website called Small Luxury Hotels. It worked great for our group of 14. Service was friendly and accommodating. It was walking distance to the Piazza and the shopping but not in the heart of the touristy part of town.

We had the family suite at the top, which was absolutely amazing with beautiful interior, living room, nice bathroom and two bedrooms. The beds were incredible, and the outdoor space was a nice bonus. It' situated on a busy street, but you don't really notice once you're inside. Good location and great value for money.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
