This a great little hotel to stay at while in staying in Milan. It is in a great spot that is easy to find from the airport and is a close walk to the under-ground "subway system. The staff is super friendly and speak beautiful english. They are more then helpful at check-in and then throughout the trip. I will...

We loved staying at Petit Palais hotel de Charme. It was located close to the center of Milan and had public transportation available nearby. The staff was very friendly and kind. The room was great, clean and we loved the design and decoration. Great choice and we highly recommend it

A real hotel de charme, with the best decorated rooms. A wonderful inside garden for smokers, a fully proficient staff and very close to all the best attractions. We really appreciated our stay. The breakfast is delicious and nothing to say about the staff

Too noisy neighborhood. Poor breakfast. Unfriendly for smokers. The staff was very kind. Clean enough but needs renovation. We were expecting more from a 4 star hotel. Medium. We asked for a double bed and got twin. They didn't expect us though we had booked, but it was ok, we didn't wait for a long time.

Thank you for this review. We have checked and we didn't expect you just because you did your booking 5 minutes before arriving to the hotel and the mail was not recorded. We hope that your next stay with us will be more pleasant.

small rooms, very small bathrooms, poor breakfast, only the staff were friendly, not a good quality for its price for sure, nothing complementary in the room, the room was on the main street which was very loud and we had to open the windows as the AC wasn't working.

Thank you for choosing to stay at Palazzo Parigi and for taking the time to share your feedback. The Hotel occupies a corner of Milanese history; the building has more than 800 years' history. I stayed in a junior suite - at a good rate, but still: being a member of Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) I expected more. The rooms were small, facing a noisy road without sound proof windows. The worst was the breakfast in a windowless room in the basement. Location is ok, but not totally central.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
