As the title stays the staff were beyond rude and unhelpful. It almost seemed they were trying to be. The place had no class. The apartment was in a dodgy looking building and next to zero facilities. I can't explain in words how horrible the experience was for us.

Just stayed with my family, it makes you feel like living in Italy, very good location especially to restaurants. Tram to duomo just on the corner. Watch out if you have a large car, though the hotel offers parking lot it does not fit large cars thus extra euros are needed!

Very nice and quiet place , warm clean and with modern furniture , I recommend it . It is rather close to city center and it is surrounded with plenty of options for food coffee and drinks . The area also feels safe so do not worry about dodgy people .

On the arrival date (30.07.2014) we have been completely shocked by getting not a normal room, what was shown on the pictures.. but a strange place.. what I cannot even call a hotel room: The entrance is directly from the noisy yard, with a small window on the yard.. 3 levels room, looks like made from ex dark cellar under...

We visited Milano on our way home from a camping trip and were looking for a reasonable stay. As we've already seen the touristy places of the city we focused on value for money. The room we were assigned was around 300m away from the reception in the Via Pavia. The room was spacious, very clean and offered all amenities...

ok, so they call themselves a b & b but do not serve breakfast….. hmmmmm. Whatever, our room was clean and quiet. We did struggle with the air conditioner a bit, but then it finally worked. All else was normal. Not extremely convenient, but our friends paid for the room, so no complaints here! I'd stay again.

Staff was very rude, most probably because they were not Italians. Place did not have internet and it's 2014 after all. Looked clean but was very dusty actually with hairs on the bed. Nothing was provided either, especially if you have kitchen to be used. Just awful experience, will never stay there again

We were travelling to Milan for a birthday celebration, long weekend break with friends.Arrived at the hotel. The entrance is dark and there were workmen gathered outside the door to reception smoking and generally laying about ( I mean that literally). The receptionist needs a lesson in customer service. We were directed by a member of staff to an apartment...

First night they didn't have any free double rooms so we were put into a spacious apartment for 4, which was great, from the second night we were moved to a double room. Hotel is very clean, modern and well maintained. Not many facilities, no breakfast, spa or room service, but that's ok, since we were sightseeing all day. It...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
