We booked a room with them, coming from a long flight. When we got to the place the said the didn't have a room, because they tried (once) charging my card (even though the conditions of the booking were that we were supposed to pay when we arrived) so they gave the room to someone else. I wouldn't recommend booking...

Met by v friendly staff who dealt with my booking only 5 mins prior to my arrival. I was greeted and shown a room with no one else sleeping in it, as the others all had inhabitants. I was also helped with my bags to my room. I booked for two nights but only stayed for one, I asked for...

The hotel was noisy, made worse by the receptionist paying loud music and singing terribly along. They also overcharged me, which I eventually got returned and charged 60€ deposit to my card without permission

My worst "hotel" experience ever courtesy of Hotel Kennedy, Milan. I was told that I had to settle the total bill in cash, no cards accepted, and then was overcharged by €10 for city tax and linen fees because "it is wrong on your booking.com form" and the "website is wrong". I was then denied a receipt by two receptionists,...

If I could rate this dump 0 stars I would! The staff cruise around the place early in the morning like they are in their own houses, so loud and inconsiderate! I asked staff at 7:45am and again at 9am to stop yelling to which I was told "I'll punch the s@*t out of you!" I called him out on...

It's better than sleeping on the street. The room itself was okay, we thankfully had a lock on our door. The wifi was the best thing about the stay. The sheet had one or two hairs on but the room was quite clean. The major issues were: no fan being provided, rude staff who literally swore at customers, wires that...

We were there in the beginning of January, and they gave only a light blanket. It was very cold by the morning. The heat was only working in the evening, but not in nighttime. It was only a few guests, but the guy at the reception called his friends to have fun in the evening, so they were making noise...

only a few minutes away from the central station and the metro porta venezia (M1). My friend and I reached everything by foot. Walk to the duomo! long but totally worth it. lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Very safe, I was never scared walking around by night. The shared bathroom was very dirty (chewing gum in the shower??)but that...

The worst hostel I've ever stayed. Room is not comfortable and dirty. The lighting is dim. The fan is broken. Door handle on the balcony is broken. On the balcony are mountains of trash and dust. Acoustics awful. All night we were hearing doorbells of guests. Because of this, we couldn't sleep. In the morning staff were cleaning other rooms,...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
