i found the hotel from booking tonight app from my smart phone, and it was a last minute deal, the price was excellent, area is very vibe after 6pm if the weather is good or if it is a weekend. "last supper" museum is about 15 minute walking distance. you need to pay 20Euros for parking if you want to...

The name is a bit misleading. Nothing arty about the hotel. Once you get over that, you notice the rooms are clean and done up nicely, the location is quirky but well connected, wifi is free, the breakfast is ample and the staff is responsive. Good deal for the price...

Stayed the for a week fir the design festival. On business trip. The room was a good size, quiet. Very helpful service. Generous breakfast. The gym was not working was closed for repairs, this is the reason for the rating. They offered another location for the gym but I would have had to pa extra. I would've hoped that they...

Something of a misnomer- no stunning art filled entrance and not a single picture in the rooms! However clean, simple (remember this is not a UK 4 star hotel) but a B and B service ) with plenty of storage space, a safe and a mini kettle for much needed tea after walk from Metro (there is a bridge with steps...

My husband and two children stayed at this Hotel in Navigli last week. We chose it because it was one of the few that offered a quad room. While the location was ok (close to bars, restaurants etc in the Navigli area) it was out of the way from the main attractions in Milan. The room itself was spacious and...

We loved our stay at the Art Hotel, It was our first time in Milan and it was so easy to get to the centre on the Subway which was a few minutes walk away from the hotel. There was a small supermarket opposite which was handy and a wide rang of restaurants to choose from in the evening. The...

The hotel is in a great location close to the subway and right in the heart of nightlife!! Our room was right next to the breakfast service area and the employees come out on the balcony right next to 403 balcony. The slamming of plates and such starts around 5am. The walls and floors are very thin in this hotel...

Getting to the Hotel....very easy...Malpensa Express to Cadorna (4 Euros)...Metro line 2 go south 3 stops (1.50 Euros) The area initially looked awful as they are cleaning the canal ready for the Expo...however, don't let that put you off...it is in a fabulous area..the evening life is terrific. A walk along the canal in the evening when the restaurants, shops...

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
Navigli
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
