This hotel is a 'must' if you're going to Milan for a short stay. Beautiful, stylish hotel in the heart of Navigli. Could not praise the the hotel, location, food and particularly the staff high enough. The added touch by the hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday was unexpected and an excellent surprise. Navigli itself is a hive of social... More

I have been to Milan a few times now; and really liked this hotel. It's easy to get to from the central train station on the underground; the directions provided are easy to follow. It's about 5 minutes walk; across a little footbridge and to the right. - the room was a good size - the bathroom had a hairdryer... More

One day conference at the hotel and three night stay for business at the exhibition. The rooms are nice and peaceful. Breakfast is really good and the fitness room is adequate for training on the go. The location is great for nights after business as the riverside is filled with restaurants. A variety of really good, yet reasonably prices restaurants... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this hotel which is near many good restaurants and a short walk from Porta Genova metro station. The buffet breakfast included everything you could wish for and was fresh and delicious. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and well looked after. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for 4 days. It is a great hotel with an amazing location. There are so many places to eat. Right next to the hotel is a decent supermarket where we stocked up on lovely wine to take home. On your first night you are invited to a free drinks with lots of snack. The breakfast is superb.... Six adults and two small children looking for a hotel when in Milan for a family wedding with little or no idea where to stay, then saw Art Hotel Navigli and so pleased that we booked. A 20 minute taxi ride from Linate Airport or bus and train, straight to the hotel. The hotel is just around the corner from... More

Three nights on business. They serve snacks at the restaurant for free, something you value when you arrive the hotel late in the evening and all you need is an ice cold Peroni and some salty things with it. The hotel is located nicely by the canal and there's a huge variety of restaurants to choose from in a walking... More

This hotel has a parking garage and free wifi. Room 411 is spacious with all the needs for a comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet is also on the 4th floor. Enough choice for everyone. Coffee or cappuccino is freshly made. Location of the hotel is their USP. Oppostie of the hotel is a small supermarket with the basics. 1-2 minutes away... More

Location, location, location. Navigli is very pleasant to stay and the Art Hotel Navigli lies in the middle of it. Good breakfast, rooms a bit outdated as is the rest of the hotel. Not exactly a "design" hotel, the word Art suggests more than it is. But we had a very pleasant stay: clean room with good facilities, staff helpful.... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
