Staff was incredibly helpful and sweet!! No issues with staff. my review will be focused on the room. Pros: Bathroom was nicely remodeled, clean, and they had very nice smelling soap! Cons: The bed was extremely uncomfortable, very hard mattress! The insulation of the building...More
Front desk and breakfast staff were quite good and helpful. Rooms were adequate though a bit odd in layout (shower was in hallway between bathroom and bed) with average space, comfort and amenities. Breakfast was better than average. Location is good if you want to...More

We didn't arrive via Bergammo Airport, we came in through Milano Linate Airport and took a taxi from there which was not expensive and quick and easy. WARNING- do not take a cab offered by the well-dressed touts at the airport. Go to the taxi rank and get one there. It is much cheaper. I presume these touts will be in force at Bergamo airport too. If you opt for public transport into the city the tram system is excellent and cheap and easy. Get off at Corso Sempione via Canova and it is an easy walk to the Lancaster.
