Hotel clean. Staff friendly and informative. Useful info about hotel, location and Milan received by email.
Decent breakfast for a reasonable price.
Room a bit pricey but think that was because it was Milan Fashion Week.

Located near the center of Milan, this hotel offers comfort and accommodation exactly for how many stars it has (3). A quiet location for those who want to rest at night. The food is as it should be, good and fresh. The park in front of the hotel is an excellent remedy for the elderly, but also a place of relaxation for the young ones.
Comfortable and clean rooms, new furniture and adapted to the place where the hotel is located.
It is noteworthy that in the area there are homes for people with special material possibilities, which requires cleanliness, order and discipline.
In a word a perfect place where I will return with pleasure.

Terrific. Clean, great buffet breakfast included with plenty of choices, good Wifi, two connected bedrooms were perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children and helpful staff. The rooms were spacious and warm for our Winter visit to Milan. The metro (underground) train station is a short walk and also it's just a short train ride into central Milan and the Duomo etc. Very pleasant and helpful staff. I would stay here again.

Where do we start.
We are 2 18 year old girls travelling round Europe. This note has been an awful experience
Firstly when laying in bed a reception worker let himself into our room. When we asked him what he was doing he said he was looking for the cleaners charger. We asked him to leave - only to come back banging in the door 5 minutes later and again trying to let himself in. We were pushing the door closed and extremely scared as before he appeared in our room we had never seen him before.
He then continued to shout “ I want the charger that has been left in the room” we told him there was no charger, after a few minutes he went. We then went down to reception and another man was in reception with the same man that entered our room. He denied coming in ( I had my mum on FaceTime time so she also witnessed the whole thing and was worried back in the Uk) the man at reception apologised and said we would be safe and no one would re enter the room. We get very vulnerable and uneasy about the whole situation.
When checking out our room bill should have been €3 for water that we brought but instead was made to pay €25 and they said it was tax and had to pay.
The whole experience has been awful. They have completely taken advantage that we are 2 Young girls travelling alone.
We felt so unsafe after the man cam into our room.

+1
This hotel is embarrassing to say the least - my room was dirty (white spots on the table), the toilet paper hanger was falling off, the bathroom curtain was already half-way off. The breakfast is just beyond sad - the bananas are brown, the muesli completely stale. The only highlight was the lady serving breakfast but that’s it. Stay away if you can.

Response from Paolo Filippi Mazzola, Direttore generale at Hotel Domenichino
Responded 30 Sept 2021
Dear Mrs. Alina, despite being a regular customer for several years, I don't understand which owner what could have happened to denigrate the work of a company in this way, in any case it will always be well received also in the future. I hope to understand during the next stay with a confidential interview what really happened.

We spent 5 nights here, the hotel room was very clean, light, and airy, we had the (shared) balcony on the 4th floor so that was a bonus.
The reception guys were all very helpful.
Special shout out to the lady serving breakfast, who despite being very busy and having to deal with some people who just wouldn't wear the compulsory face mask (!) kept her cool and her smile at all times.
Awesome location near all sorts of public transport.
Would return here anytime.

From start to finish an impeccable service. The friendliness of your staff put me at ease, and even though I was alone in a city like Milan, I felt at home.
The hotel is spotless in every room, starting from the hole.
The spaces and furnishings are truly welcoming and comfortable.
The room I stayed in was equipped with bathroom essentials, TV, fridge, safe, hairdryer and even a wall stand with hangers where you can place your jackets.
The room design is wonderful!
The LEDs that surround the wall furniture give an extra touch.
The parquet is very clean and there is also a lamp, a bedside table and a small desk.
The bed was really comfortable with pure white sheets and a soft pillow.
The climate can be managed directly on the panel in the wall.
The bathroom is impeccably clean, the shower is splendid, there is a carpet and all the necessary towels.
The very kind staff at the reception gave me the opportunity to leave my backpack in the luggage room (because I arrived before the check-in time) so I could visit the city without clutter.
I also had the opportunity to use the services (present in the relaxation area of the hole)
Behind the hole there are sofas with tables and a TV where it was also possible to watch the European football match on SKY.
In the hole there is also a bar (which I personally didn't use) but it looked really, really nice and well stocked, I noticed that it was open even late at night.
Let's talk about breakfast:
Here too, I was welcomed by the staff in a warm and welcoming way. There is an automatic machine where you can prepare your own breakfast: cappuccino, espresso, tea and much more.
The breakfast products: sweet and savory croissants prepared in the morning were delicious!
It would take me an entire paragraph to list the wide choice of breakfast... a delight for the eyes as well as the palate!
From fresh fruit, to scrambled eggs with bacon, jams, yoghurt, fruit juices, soft-boiled eggs, cold cuts and cheese section, tarts and much, much more!
To say that I was extremely satisfied with my stay is an understatement.
Thanks again! Hotel Domenichino 🥰

I went to urgently print documents at the Hotel and the gentleman at reception refused to accept payment. He was so helpful and considerate which is a rare thing to find these days. I can't wait to go back to Milan and stay!!

The hotel is located in the area of De Angeli - Monte Rosa, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but easily accessible by metro.
The room, on the top floor, was spacious and comfortable, although some details indicate that it requires a renovation. For example, the key was huge and heavy, when currently accessed through a simple magnetic card. Likewise, the wallpaper of the placard sector was worn and the room faded. There was a safe, TV, WiFi Internet and a refrigerator, although the latter was empty citing the COVID-19 pandemic, so if you wanted a water you should buy it in the lobby bar.
Breakfast offered a wide range of options: fruits, cereals, eggs, cold meats, yogurt and variety of breads and bills. The breakfast room was spacious and had no difficulty getting a table even at peak time. To access breakfast, a voucher had to be presented and withdrawn beforehand at the reception day by day, an absurd and bureaucratic system that complicates guests.
The hotel's rating would have been higher were it not for the regrettable attention of the subject in charge of the reception. When he arrived, he answered the greeting, asked us for passports and indicated - unnecessarily - the floor of the room. At no time did he inform us of the breakfast times or how it worked, nor did he have a word of welcome. He was always in a bad mood and was brusque in his treatment. Also, when we asked you for information about the nearest stop of the tourist bus that the hotel itself promotes, you misinformed us. He sent us to the Duomo, for which we must have taken the metro to meet a crowded tourist stop, when - as we saw later-- one of the routes had a stop near the hotel. Clearly the establishment must improve the care of that key sector, which overshadows its image with the impolite treatment of guests.

Booked triple room to attend AC Milan match in San Siro. The reception staff were very friendly and even printed us copies of our passports for identification for getting into game. The bedroom (414) was a large triple and was very modern with lots of room.
Breakfast in the morning was substantial with plenty of choice. Overall a very good choice and would highly recommend.
