Really nice and relatively affordable hotel. We enjoyed very much our 4 days stay. Staff were very helpful indeed. Breakfast was really nice - buffet style with lots of different tasty food. Room was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again in this lovely hotel. Our recommendation.

I booked the hotel through Lastminute.com with 10% discount code. It was £76.64 for two nights including buffet breakfast. The room was clean and basic but a bit hot. It takes about 2-3 mins walking to the central station. The breakfast was ok for me, but no fresh fruits. If you are a (female) solo traveler, you will need to...

We stayed here for one night and the man on reception was helpful providing us with a map and marking out the key areas although this was pretty much the extent of our interaction with staff. The room itself was a good size, as was the bathroom but nothing spectacular or of greater value than the room cost, and the...

We come early and they very quickly made our room ready. Room was big and clean wit large bathroom. Breakfast good ( buffet style) with latte or cappuccino served at bar. Also staff really helpful. After check out we left our suit cases at locked storage. Only one thing I didn't like air condition didn't work . Very good location...

As a travelling family of 4 (2A/2C) we had to divide over two rooms, they were both located on the 6th floor, I stayed in room 687 which backed onto the lift well and was very noisy when anyone wanted to use the lift as the walls seemed paper thin. The pillows resembled lead weights so we chose not to...

We needed a hotel room for one night in the proximity of Central Station. After reading reviews we picked out New York Hotel. Indeed it is located closed to railway station and metro station. And that would be all positive we can say about our experience here. The room wall is paper thin. I woke up to toilet flush and...

Not to damn it with faint praise. We stayed there for one night in transit between Paris and Rome. It was functional and basic which is why we booked it. The hotel manager was helpful on the night and in the morning with directions to the train station the next morning. There was no need to use the wifi, tv...

You can see this hotel as you leave the Milano Centrale train station. The triple room had three single beds and a large bath. There were two bathroom sinks, which is convenient. Soap and shampoo were provided, and there was a hair dryer. The room had a mini-bar and a TV. The pillows were a bit thin. Breakfast is included,...

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
