The hotel is a €10 cab from Milano centrale where your airport bus or train disembarks. The hotel has an easy check in process and allows you to leave your bags there, they also do their best to accommodate early check-in, in our case, availing is of our room 2 hrs prior to check in time, though we opted to...

When we arrived, a lady who only spoke Italian checked us in, but we had no problem. When we left for the day ( we had to turn our key in) I believe it may have been her daughter or some relative who spoke with us and she did speak English. The staff there is very friendly and the rooms are...

London is quite a sweet little hotel. Of course, it's dated and not very cool and the bathroom door has a strong dislike for human legs. But other than that, only good things. The hotel is on a budget. It's very clean and well organised (I have never seen so many coat hangers in a hotel before). The room was...

Pros: Location! Just a few steps away from Castello Sforzesco, Duomo and Chiesa Santa Maria Delle Grazie. Cons: Not a great stay. Maybe it was my error while booking but stayed in a room with no restroom. There was just communal bathroom beside our room, which was noisy and run out of toilet paper. Still it was clean. The room...

One of the best things about this place was the location- about 500m away from the Duomo and 400m away from La Scala. If you didn't want to pay for a public toilette in Centro Storico, you could simply just walk back to your room to use it :) The 24hr reception was also helpful, as I went to a...

Perfect perfect location for any and all attraction that Milan has to offer Staff friendly, one negative was there wasn't only NO Free Breakfast...... But charged 3 times the going rate for a simple cup of cafe... Great place to rest, sleep & shower, short stay close to shops and restaurants Would stay again if was to return..

Fine hotel with a great location near shopping, food and just general walking around. We used for first day after long international flight during Milan Expo. Price was very good, nice help from front desk, room was clean, bathroom fine. The hotel is an older one, but was perfectly satisfactory.

Stayed here early October, 2015 and the rooms were typically small, but the bathrooms were the smallest we experienced in our 3-week trip through France, Switzerland and Northern Italy. Perhaps 4' X 6' at best, the toilet seemed to be a marine one which made a horrific grinding sound each time it was flushed. The tiniest of showers that I'm...

Stayed in this hotel only for one night. Nice and cheerful staff. Awesome location - only a few minutes walk to Duomo. A lot of restaurants and shopping places nearby. Ideal for a short stay in Milan.

We stayed in the London Hotel in September 2014. We loved it. It's family run and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. We got lots of tips and directions to everything we wanted to see or do. It was a very convenient location and we were within blocks of the Duomo. There was an ATM around the corner...

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
