2 days July 2016. 20 min walk from station. Not a great hotel very old and needs to be updated. Our room was at the front of the hotel and just off the receipt and lounge rooms so it was very noisey. The breakfast was basic but would not stay again for what we had to pay. Would suggest you... More

Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here. Yes. I know it's cheap. But there's much better options around (Hotel Termina for example). Rude, lazy staff. Ugly place that hasn't been looked after, painted, for what looks like years. Cigarette burns in the bathroom. The bed is so itchy I had to sleep over the covers on a towel... More

Basic rooms but friendly service, good breakfast and central location. We arrived and all staff were very friendly, the breakfast was limited but sufficient and the location was central making it easy to get to the centre and the station. Would recommend to those visiting Milan for a bed and breakfast!!

This little hotel is really barely a 3-min walk from the metro station Reppublica! Since there is no elevator, one has to go up a flight of somewhat steep stairs to reach the desk on the first floor of the building. I arrived just before lunch and luckily, after a 10-min wait, my room was ready (located at the back,... More

I have stayed at this hotel several times since 2006, but this may be my final visit here because it has gotten shabby and rundown. Internet is so slow it is frustrating. While the place overall seems clean, the blanket on my bed looks ancient, as do the curtains, carpets, furnishings, etc. Someone was smoking in the building last evening... More

The hotel is very basic and in need of a facelift but the room was okay and came with a separate bathroom and toilet. The beds were firm and the room was fine for a couple of nights stay but you’d start feeling depressed if you stayed longer. The breakfast was pretty good but all cold items.

The rooms are clean, the shower and the bathrooms are fine. Breakfast tastes fine. There is something for everyone on the table. The hotel is only a few meters far from the Metro station Rebublica (Exit: Tram station). However, the carpets in the Corridors are very old and needed replaced. The aircondition has sometimes it problems. All in all I... More

I stayed in a single ensuite room at Hotel Casa Mia for 2 nights. It is a relatively small hotel, but it was cosy and it provided me with all I needed for a short trip in Milan, which in itself can be quite costly for budget travellers. Casa Mia was one of the (in my opinion) cheaper options for... More

Staying in Stazione Centrale

Neighbourhood Profile
Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
